What Are the Signs of Acid Reflux?
The medical name is gastroesophageal reflux since it is the passage from the stomach contents to the esophagus. This is where acidic liquids should not be present, and therefore, this condition generates many discomforts. Avoid alcoholic beverages and cigarettes, because they irritate the esophagus and can cause greater discomfort.
Prioritize dishes that are easy to digest. Some suggestions are foods that are not very fatty or seasoned. These facilitate the food’s passage from the stomach to the intestine and therefore reduce the chances of the content returning to the esophagus.
Avoid carbonated or carbonated drinks or carbonated drinks that distends the stomach with air and this favors the return of the contents to the esophagus by increasing its volume.
