DealDash Tech – Android or iOS?

Pixel Phone 3 XL (128GB, Just Black, Unlocked)Apple® iPhone XS Max 256GB Silver + Verdict. Cables

Everyone has a smartphone these days, the real questions is – which operating system do you prefer? Here are some things to consider, from DealDash.

Did you notice that DealDash is offering the newest and best cell phones up for auction? They have the iPhone XS as well as the Google Pixel 3 XL. These are the newest and hottest phones on the market that everyone wants to have this year. Which is your favorite phone?

iPhone XS with iOS

Every phone has a few interesting and unique features about it, and I think that one of the best features that the iPhone XS offers is the advanced face recognition. Security is simple when your face is your password since (almost) everyone’s is unique. You can unlock your iPhone, log in to apps, and pay for things with a glance. It’s the most secure facial authentication ever in a smartphone. And now it’s even faster than the iPhone X. Identical twins, you might be a little cautious using this feature if you don’t want your twin to be able to use your phone.

The iPhone XS also offers wireless charging and a dual camera system for amazing photos. If you are a fan of Apple iPhones, then this is the phone that you have been waiting for, and DealDash has it at this link right here.

Google Pixel 3 XL with Android Pie 9.0

Now that we have covered the iPhone, let’s move on to my personal favorite phone – the Google Pixel 3 XL! I love my Google Pixel 3XL. It has an amazing camera, which is great because I love taking pictures of my cats. It’s hard to get a good shot of them since they are always moving, so it’s a good thing that the phone has the Top Shot feature. This feature automatically picks out the best picture for you, which is pretty amazing.

The rear camera on the 3 XL is a whopping 12.2 MP, which is seriously amazing. I have a Nikon D3400 digital camera that can take professional pictures, and it has 24 MP. Having a 12.2 MP camera in your pocket at all times is really amazing. I will never miss the chance to take a great picture just because I left my heavy, expensive, fragile DSLR camera at home. If you would like to see what all the fuss is about, just click this link and check out the Google Pixel 3 XL on DealDash.

Now, I have to admit, I did not win my Google Pixel XL 3 from DealDash. My husband bought it for me when it came out because I loved my original Google Pixel XL so much. He could have actually saved money by winning or even BINning it on DealDash. If you look at the Google Pixel XL 3’s Buy It Now (BIN) price, you will see that it is $999. My husband paid over $1,100 for mine from the local retailer. If he had bid on the phone on DealDash instead, even if he didn’t win, he could have paid the BIN price and received all of the bids back that he had placed. Not only that, he would have gotten free shipping AND even gotten to keep the clock time that he had accrued while bidding. However, since this was a surprise, he did not go that route.

Thanks for Reading

As you can see, who matter which phone you pick, they both have some great features. Both phones offer a lot for your money, and I’m sure you would love either one. DealDash has them both for you, as well as other Android and iOS phones to choose from.

DealDash has a Fun Email Trick

Image result for email Did you know that the first email was sent 45 years ago?! Here is a fun tip to get the most out of your email experience.

It’s true, the first email was sent by an engineer named engineer Raymond Tomlinson on Wednesday June 8th, 1971. Raymond Tomlinson has been credited with inventing email, and I’m sure that we are all grateful to him! Sadly, he passed away this past summer, but his email legacy lives on. Here is a fun tip that will ensure that your email will be read instead of ignored.

I was recently browsing my email inbox, and came upon a very fun email from my local craft store, and in it’s subject line was an emoji! Up until this point I had never seen (or maybe never noticed) any pictures in my email’s subject lines, and I was intrigued. After a little poking around I figured out how easy and simple it is to jazz up your email subject lines with pictures. Surprisingly, there is actually no trick at all! Just think of the emoji that you would like to use, find it with an internet search, and simply highlight it with your mouse, and cut (CTRL C) and paste (CTRL V)! Here are a few fun emoticons, you can cut and paste them right from this article!

DealDash Makes: a Pillow iPod Stand

You might not realize how much you need an iPad pillow stand until you have one. Here is a quick and easy lesson to get you started on your road to comfort with your iPad as your co-pilot.

The iPad pillow stand will cushion the iPad and keep it standing, and it will also be a very comfortable stand that can be placed on your lap or stomach while you are reading, FaceTiming, or browsing on DealDash.

Materials:

  • Pattern
  • large piece of soft and comfortable yet sturdy cloth for the pillow’s exterior – This should measure at least 16 inches long and 45 inches wide
  • Scissors
  • Chalk or a fabric pencil
  • Sewing needle and thread
  • Box cutter/Razor knife
  • Ruler
  • Large chunk of craft foam for the soft body of the pillow – You can get this at a craft, hobby, or sewing store
  • Sewing machine (optional)

Instructions:

  • The first thing that you are going to need is a pattern. You can get the pattern from this link right here: http://blog.ipevo.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/PadPillow_sewing_pattern.pdf
  • Print out the pattern from the link. It will print the size that you need. Cut out the pattern, trace around them on your fabric with the chalk, and then cut out the sections from the cloth with the scissors.
  • Follow the directions that are enclosed in the pattern .pdf. You can then sew the pieces together using a sewing machine or the needle and thread. When you’re done sewing all three fabric cutouts together, you’ll have the basic shape of the iPad pillow stand. There will be an unsewn space in the back of the pillow to allow you to stuff the foam inside the fabric stand.
  • Next you need to cut the pieces of craft foam. Cut the first piece of craft foam using a ruler and box-cutter-type knife. This smaller piece should measure 12.6 x 9.1 x 1.6 inches.
  • After you have cut the basic shape and size then you need to shave down one side of the foam piece to form a semi-triangular shape instead of than leaving it as a simple rectangle.
  • After you’re done with the first piece of foam, cut the second triangular piece of foam. This larger piece should measure 6.3 x 5.7 x 12.6 inches where 6.3 inches is the base of the triangle, 5.7 inches is the height, and 12.6 inches is the length.
  • Next, put them into the fabric cover that you have sewn. Just add them one at a time, shoving them in through the opening of the fabric cover.
  • Lastly, sew up the seam that you have left open.

See, simple, easy, and fun! If you are looking for a project to do with your child, this would be a fun one, as long as your child is responsible enough to use the sharp materials. Please supervise your children closely.

DealDash Cooks: Apple Crisp

Apples are America’s favorite fruit, and while they are awesome by themselves they are even better when baked into an apple crisp!

Did you know that 2,500 varieties of apples are grown in the US alone? Even more amazing than that, 7,500 varieties of apples are grown around the world. That’s a big difference from the choice of Granny Smith’s, Red & Golden Delicious, and Gala apples that are available in your local supermarket. Apples are grown in all 50 states, however, so no matter where you are in the US you should always be able to buy apples. Other than just eating them apples have lots of different uses such as making baby food, juice, apple sauce, apple butter or jelly and vinegar.

In my opinion, though, none of those uses are quite as delicious as making your apples into an apple crisp! Making an apple crisp is simple and fairly quick, please read on below for the recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 6 Gala apples (peeled, cored, and sliced up)
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon & 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (separated)
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cold butter

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
  • Mix apples with white sugar and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon in a bowl to coat; out into a 9-inch square baking dish
  • Mix brown sugar, oats, flour, and 1 teaspoon cinnamon in another bowl. Use a potato masher or 2 forks to mash cold butter into the oats mixture until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs; spread over the apples to the edges of the baking dish. Pat the top gently until evenly coated.
  • Bake in preheated oven until golden brown and sides are bubbling, about 40 minutes.

That’s it! Once that bad boy comes out of the oven serve it up warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side. Yum yum! Everyone I’ve ever served my apple crisp to has enjoyed it — or they are all really good at faking it!

If you are in need of any of the supplies mentioned in the recipe, such as measuring cups, measuring spoons, cutting boards, a baking dish, or a new set of kitchen knives to slice up the apples you should definitely check out DealDash. DealDash has all of these kitchen items and so much more to explore and bid on. You can check out DealDash’s Kitchen and Dining category located at this link right here.
