Reviewing why to Buy it Now on DealDash

Reviewing DealDash's buy it now feature

One of the absolute best reasons for bidding on is their Buy it Now option. While other penny auction sites offer a buy it now feature, none of them offer to return ALL, yes I said ALL, of your bids back for free!!!

I can buy it now for the full retail price (say $25 for a $25 gift card) and have all of my bids returned to bid again if I would like.

When the buy it now option first came on to the scene, I was skeptical and wondered why would someone pay full price? You really are trying to win the auction. Your intent is to win. Well, most of the auctions I am on are competitive auctions and the other bidders are all trying to win too. So, I spoke with a few other bidders, and their reaction was pretty simple and clear cut. “Why not?”

After all, if there are 30 bidders all going for the same item, and you have reached your own personal limit, the buy it now option lets you get the item you wanted, and for free, all of your bids come back to you to try again. Oh, and shipping is always free on DealDash. You really don’t lose. My daughter says I skip to the mailbox! Not sure about that, but I am awfully happy to collect my winnings and plan my next adventure on DealDash!

DealDash Buy it Now

Review of the “Buy It Now” on DealDash

DealDash Buy it Now Review

The “Buy It Now” is a great feature of DealDash. I really wanted  a pressure washer. Well I wasn’t lucky enough to win it so instead I used the Buy It Now feature on and got the pressure washer I wanted and all my Bids back for free.

I have also used the Buy it now on some other auctions items like a bicycle, lawn fountain, gift cards and more. I then use the Bids I get back to win auctions like an 800 Bid pack I won! Even thought I may not always win with the bids I get back from the Buy it Now purchase, I still have fun trying to win and I’m happy with my purchase.

I think that even when you lose an auction on DealDash, you can still win with the Buy it Now.

I now have a very clean and renewed deck, a happy grand child and other items thanks to DealDash. One of my most favorite things about DealDash is the free shipping. It is wonderful that you don’t have to pay for the shipping of your auction wins like you do on other online shopping sites. DealDash also gives you the tracking information of your win so you’ll know exactly when you can expect your package to arrive.

Another wonderful feature is the ability to earn free bids with the time as highest bidder meter.

I love when DealDash offers 2X and 3X faster timers going so you can earn way more free bids than usual. You can’t beat the Free auction days and 50% off auctions either. This is where Deal Dash pays the final selling price when you win an auction or you only have to pay 50% of the normal selling price.

Be sure to review DealDash bidding tutorials and the blogs for tips other useful features. offers an outstanding customer service staff and are always good about helping. They are well-trained to help you in every way they can within their guide lines. I have never had a problem and recommend asking for assistance if needed.

DealDash’s Weekly Winning Limits

I have started to earn my six wins per week on DealDash pretty often which causes me some angst.

While I am not complaining about the six wins (they have been coming at a relatively low cost :)), I seem to go through this bidding withdrawal! I am wondering if I should try for the higher priced items or should I go to the other sites I occasionally bid on. So, I decide to try for the higher priced items and quite often get KO’ed.

I ponder the idea of bidding on other sites and return to one of my pre DealDash favorite penny auctions. I decided to go for it and purchased bids at 75 cents each and proceeded to lose them and won nothing in a really short period of time. Not to be deterred, I bought another bid pack that cost $35 and proceeded to lose those 50 bids as well on this other site. No auction win, no buy it now and I have lost $70 cash in all. I am like a dog with a bone though and am determined to win something, so I buy more bids for $15 and proceed to win four $15 gift cards for a total of $60. Do the math, I lost $25 in this process of bidding on this other site.

While there are no shipping fees for the cards that I won, the fact I cannot buy it now to get my bids back on the auctions I did not win, is really frustrating. If you don’t win on many of the other penny auction sites, you really lose. I mean really lose. I much prefer and will try to win my six auctions a little slower to avoid going to other sites, and who knows I may get a lot better at winning the higher priced items too! Great part is knowing that if I don’t win, I can buy the item I wanted anyway and get all my bids back.

DealDash Winning Limits

To ensure equal chances for everyone to win you can win up to 6 items valued less than $200, and 3 items valued more than $200 per week. You can follow the status of your wins by logging in and looking at the winning limit slots right next to the bid amount. The system will not allow you to bid after you have reached your limit. All remaining BidBuddies will be automatically cancelled. Please plan your bidding strategy with this in mind.

Catching The Real Deal On DealDash

DealDash Reviews

This is my Grandson Justin. He is 12 years old and is into scouting, basketball and of course fishing! I really tried hard to win several items on DealDash that they featured recently. I bid on the Gone Fishing 12 Foot Telescoping Fishing Pole, South Bend 137-Piece Deluxe Tackle Kit and the Big Bobber Floating Cooler.

Although I happened to not win, I did not lose either because I chose to use the “Buy it Now” option that DealDash offers. The “Buy it Now” option is a unique feature and what I think a customer benefit that I use frequently. The “Buy it Now” option allows a bidder to purchase an item they have bid on at regular price in case they lose. The best deal about the “Buy it Now’ option is you get all the bids back that you bid on the item. That is a great deal and it makes great money sense too because I would have bought the item at a store for Justin anyway. I bid on DealDash and can do it from the comfort of my home. I do not spend gas money to go to a store and I do not have to stand in a long line to check out. All items are delivered with free shipping right to my front door.

Justin was so excited when he received the Gone Fishing 12 Foot Telescoping Fishing Pole, South Bend 137-Piece Deluxe Tackle Kit and the Big Bobber Floating Cooler. Ask Justin and he always says, “His Granny is the best!” Thanks Justin and thanks DealDash for offering great items to bid on.

3 Helpful Questions To Ask Yourself When Bidding On DealDash

To bid or not to bid? That is one question to ask yourself when bidding on DealDash. Here are three more helpful questions you need to be asking.

Do you ever find yourself bidding for products that you do not really need or want? When I first discovered it happened to me a lot. customers might easily get carried away because it has such a wide variety of high-quality products and it is one of the most honest, fun and exciting penny auction sites online. To avoid over bidding and going over the limits of our budget, I learned that it is very important to first ask ourselves the following questions:

• Do I really need this product?

• If I do not win, can I afford to use the Buy It Now (BIN) option to get all my bids back?

• If I were not bidding, would I be shopping for this item, anyway?

By taking the time to stop and ask these questions, we will be far less likely to waste bids on products we do not really need or want and we will be far more likely to have enough bids left for the auction items that we really do want to win.

When I first started shopping on I also wanted to win good deals for my friends. Since I am a member of Take off Pounds Sensibly (TOPS), I focused on winning food and bathroom scales to give away as birthday gifts. After a while, however, I looked at how much it was costing me. Even though I was getting some good deals, I could not afford to give away so many expensive gifts to so many people.

Now I encourage everyone to do their own shopping on The bottom line: To continue enjoying our shopping experience on, it is important to plan ahead, set reasonable limits and stay within our budgets.

Knowing When To Use DealDash’s Buy It Now Option

Have you ever become carried away bidding on an item that you wanted on and had the “I’m going to win this attitude come over you?”

I have. I was obsessed that I wasn’t watching how many bids I was using and then I noticed that I had spent 74 bids and the item was only $11.99 and the bidding continued.
After I did the math of how much the bids had cost which was $13.32 on an 18 count  Keurig Telly’s Hawaiian Blend K-Cups coffee I was very surprised that I had invested that much money in bids for that item because “I was going to win it”.
I dropped out of the bidding before I lost money and bought it for $11.99 and ended up saving $1.33 AND I got my 74 bids back which is always nice when your running low on bids. With this said, keep in mind that bids cost money. If you exceed the manufactured retail price with bids, may I suggest that you keep track of your bids and if you can afford to BIN then do so. You end up getting your item and ALL of your bids back. Not all bidding sites offer this and then it turns into a lose/lose situation.  DealDash guarantee’s their merchandise and if you are not satisfied you can return the item.
Thanks DealDash for being a fair and honest bidding site!

A Well Deserved Win On DealDash

After I purchased the SodaStream Genesis Soda Maker for $105.99 using the Buy It Now option on DealDash. I received my 474 bids back which I invested $85.32 in bids so really the SodaStream only cost me $20.67.

Deal Dash auctioned off a tray to keep the SodaStream organized.

I happened to be on Deal Dash one day and won the Mind Reader All-In-One Storage Tray during a free auction win sale. I needed a place to organize my SodaStream with all of the various flavors that I have. I don’t recall how many bids I used but I’m certain it wasn’t over priced but in the end I was able to win this at a bid of $3.50 but only had to pay that fabulous price of $0.01 plus Free Shipping. This win was very useful because as you can see from the video the storage tray really helps to keep the SodaStream and falvors organized to help prevent a cluttered counter top.

I have never been disappointed with any of my Purchases or wins at DealDash and I recommend it to all of my friends with the following rules to follow.

6 DealDash Bidding Tips To Help You Win Auctions

I’ve been a conservative recreational bidder, winner and shopper on DealDash since 2011. I’ve won approximately 50 auctions and used the BIN (Buy it Now) on approximately 50 auctions.

Here’s an example of one of the large TV’s I won on DealDash at 54% off retail price.

LG TV WON On DealDash

Here are 6 bidding tips I recommend to follow to help you win more auctions when bidding on

1. Try bidding on something that you want which is of lower value at first and would buy anyway even if you did not win.

2. Place a bid on the item to “get in the auction” and then watch how the auction unfolds and how the bidding action takes pace. The reason you have to “get in the auction” is because on DealDash all auctions close to new bidders that did not place a bid before the auction reaches the $5 No Jumper limit. This helps keep reduce the amount of competition in the auctions.

3. If you notice that way too many people are bidding in the auction, it may be a good idea to wait until the same item comes up for auction again.

4. Know what the item you are bidding on is worth and how many bids it makes sense to use in the auction. Also see these other articles: Part One: Computing Bidding Cost and Part Two: Bidding Strategy

5. If you decide to bid, use the BidBuddy! You can always cancel your BidBuddy and the unused bids are returned back to your account or you can add more bids to the BidBuddy at anytime.

6. Be prepared to Buy it Now and get your bids back in case you lose the auction. This is a smart way to bid and keeps you from having to purchase more bids.

Choose to follow some of these bidding tips for a better shopping experience on!

Reasons I Think DealDash Is The Best Penny Auction Site

Here are my tops reasons and tips why I think DealDash is the best penny auction site available.

They are fair to everyone with the win limits

  • Everyone has a limit of 3 winning auctions worth 200 dollars or higher and 6 winning auctions under 200 dollars per week. Therefore making it fair for everyone to win!

Buy It Now option

  • If you bid on a item and don’t win you have the option to buy it at regular price and get what bids you used on that item back to try again.

Free shipping

  • What can I say, Dealdash always has FREE SHIPPING on every item!

Special promotions

  • Free auction wins. I love these! On special days DealDash has free auction wins, this is when no matter what price you win your auction, DealdDash picks up the tab and you only pay 1 penny for the item you won!
  • 50% off wins. This means if you win your auction item you only pay 50% of the price and always free shipping!
  • Free bids. If you win an item worth 199 dollars or more and submit a picture to DealDash’s Facebook page showcasing the item you get 200 free bids, if the item is 99 dollars to 198 dollars you get 75 free bids and if the item is less than 99 dollars you get 10 free bids.
  • Free 500 dollar gift card. When you submit your picture with auction wins to get your free bids, you get entered into this drawing to win a $500 gift card for Walmart, Target, etc. Dealdash chooses 1 winner every week!
  • Special bid prices. I try to buy bids when they are marked down, which is all the time!

Good chances to win and save

  • I have won 76 auctions since august 2013.
  • My first auction win I purchased 200 bids for 32 dollars and I used 30 bids to win a 2000 Bid Pack! I then placed bids on a 46 inch led TV and won that too! It was a free auction week so I only paid 1 penny plus 32 dollar bid pack.
  • But thats just the beginning! I submitted my picture with my TV for my free 200 bids and I won the best photo of the week contest for a 500 dollar gift card! That got me hooked! I have also won 25$ ,50$ gift cards and my grandsons toys and household items!

DealDash Bidding Tips

  • Always use Bid Buddy! I have won most of my auctions using this feature.
  • Never bid stomp! This means Do Not immediately bid after someone else bids. Let the timer countdown before bidding, that way everyone has a chance to get their time in to collect free bids. Bid stompers never win and they waste a lot of bids!
  • Do research on DealDash auctions. I watch auctions to see what price certain items go for and what time of day is best to bid!

So what are you waiting for? Go to right now and start winning! Happy Bidding!!

Let’s Be Real: Buy it Now On Bid Packs Is Out

What's In and What's Out

We all would LOVE to win Bid Packs when they come up for auction on DealDash. Realistically, it rarely happens, at least for me.

When we spend our bids trying to win, we love to use the Buy it Now (BIN) and have all those spent bids returned to us. But Lets Be Real [DealDash Tip] – It is cheaper to buy more bids then to BIN on a Bid Pack. Why? Because the BIN price is always the normal cost of the bids, which is $0.60 per bid, not the “sale” prices we have become accustom to {and prefer}.

DealDash Tip: Buy Bids on sale instead of using the Buy it Now option on Bid Packs. You’ll likely be saving yourself some money.

Auction example of why it isn’t cost efficient to us the BIN on Bid Packs.

DealDash Sale

At the price of $0.17 per bid, you could purchase a bid package of 200 bids for $34.00. I was fortunate to win a couple of Bid Packages, one being to 2000 bid pack for $0.01 {winning bid was $8.00 on a free auction week} having used 238 bids to win it. Because every bid is precious to me, I am stingy when I bid on Bid Packs. I prefer to get in, watch and see how people bid, then decide if I want to have a run at it. It is great to see those fireworks pop up telling you “Congratulations You Won”, we all love when that happens. Just be careful not to get caught up in winning the auction and spend 250 bids to win a 200 bid auction. [DealDash Strategy] Know when to get out and decide how many bids you are willing to invest before the auction starts and stick to it.

DealDash Strategy: Calculate in advance the number of bids to use in an auction and Buy it Now if you don’t win with that amount of bids.
