DealDash

People of all ages and skill levels can enjoy scrapbooking. Here are some ideas to think about when you are creating a scrapbook with your kids. Read on for more information from DealDash.

If you are looking for a meaningful craft to do with your kids you should most certainly consider making scrapbooks with them. There are so many great reasons as to why you should start making scrapbooks with your kids. Scrapbooking is a great way to bond with your kids, and you won’t even have to spend a lot of money, either!

Preserve Family Memories

Scrapbooks are a great way to preserve memories of friends and family. You can have fun preserving fun memories like family reunions and family vacations. Also, you can preserve memories of fun times with friends. Making a scrapbook can really be almost as much fun as creating the memories themselves. Even better, you and your kids can look back on the time you created a scrapbook as a lovely memory as well!

Express Creativity

You can really allow your kids to express their creativity when it comes to making scrapbooks. You can let your kids make their own scrapbooks by letting them design their own pages to proudly display the pictures that they have taken. It is a fantastic way to let their creativity shine through in their work. Many craft stores have inexpensive scrapbooks with fun covers that they can choose from. They can also get one with a plain cover and decorate it as well.

You’re in Charge of the Scrapbook

Scrapbooks can be as simple or as complicated as you would like them to be. This is great news as kids of all ages can take part in making a scrapbook. You can make simpler scrapbooks with younger kids and let older kids tackle more complicated designs.

For the youngest of kids, say preschool age, you might want to let them pick the photos and the placement of the items in the scrapbook. However, you would do the actual gluing and decorating. For elementary-aged children, you can work together to create an amazing scrapbook. Kids as young as age 2 can “help” you with the scrapbook by coloring in a picture or choosing some stickers to put in the scrapbook.

Scrapbooks Make Great Gifts

Scrapbooks can make wonderful gifts that you can give to friends and family. Your kids will be so proud to have the recipient see all of their hard work. They are especially great to give to grandparents that may not live in the same area that your family does. It can also be a wonderful gift for your kids to give to their cousins that they don’t see very often so they can get to know each other better.

DealDash Fun Holiday Crafts for Kids

dealdash

The holidays are a wonderful time to do crafts with your kids. Here are some suggestions for some fun crafts to do with your kids or grandkids.

Kids love holidays, especially Christmas. They love receiving presents and being out of school for a week.  One of the best things to do with your kids during the holidays is arts & crafts. You can get your kids into the Christmas spirit by making a variety of crafts. Making holiday crafts will also keep them entertained.  Here are some fun holiday craft ideas for kids from DealDash.

Make Mini Snow Globes

Snow globes are perfect for the holidays because there is something magical about them. When you use Epson salts and a clear shot glass, you can easily make a mini snow globe. Simply add 1 tablespoon of Epson salts to the shot glass. Then, line the rim of the shot glass with tacky glue to create a base to go under the shot glass. After you line the rim of the shot glass, add some pipe cleaners in the color that you choose.  Then, shake up the globe and enjoy the winter wonderland.

Make Shining Stars

Making shinning stars is simple. Your kids can make as many as they would like too. Cut some shapes from disposable foil pans. Then place them on some cardboard. Use a craft tool like a pushpin to create patterns. Turn the star into an ornament by adding some string to it.

Colorful Pom-Pom Balls

You can create a 3-D mosaic with a pom-pom in the color of your choice. In order to make the pom-pom, you have to insert a pin into the pom-pom. Then press your pin into a medium size styrofoam ball. Do this step until the ball is completely covered. All you have to do is add a piece of ribbon to hang the styrofoam ball on a tree.

DealDash Kids: Busy Weekends = Happy Kids

DealDash

Busy kids are better behaved and happier. Keep your kids busy on the weekends with these ideas from DealDash.

With most kids back in school, most parents are wondering what to do to keep their child busy on the weekends. Of course, this is once homework and any chores are done! Too many parents worry about time spent with electronics but are unsure as to what to have their kids do. Here are some tips to keep your kids busy (and happy) on the weekends, from DealDash.

Crafty Kids are Happy Kids

Doing crafts is a wonderful way to spend some time on the weekends. There are countless crafts that you can do with kids of all ages. My daughter and I absolutely love to do crafts. For example, smaller kids could make a dollhouse out of shoe boxes or older kids could learn a craft like knitting or sewing. If you enjoy a craft this might be a great time to teach your child that craft.

I order a lot of packages, so I have many small to medium-sized cardboard boxes on hand. My daughter likes to design houses for our cats with them. She draws lines to show me where to cut and then she decorates the houses with markers. This is fun for both her and the cats since the cats like to scratch on the houses she makes. If your family has cats, bunnies, hamsters, or guinea pigs your kids might enjoy making them small houses out of cardboard boxes.

Go Outside Before it’s too Cold

Spending time outside with your kids is another way to keep them busy on the weekends. You could set up a treasure hunt for younger kids or play some type of outdoor sport with older kids. Not only is being outdoors with your kids a fantastic way to spend time with them it is also a great way to help keep them healthy as well.

You should try to maximize the time with your kids outdoors while the weather is not too cold. Small kids should not be outside in the cold weather too long, and should always wear layers including gloves or mittens and a hat. Spend some time playing outside with your kids before it’s too cold.

Get Outdoor Toys from DealDash

If you and your kids are playing outdoors on the weekends you should get some fun outdoor items from DealDash. Get a Job!

If your child is older you might want to suggest getting a part-time job on the weekends. This would be an excellent way for them to learn some responsibility and they will enjoy having some spending money of their own. Younger kids can earn money as well.  They can do anything from setting up a lemonade stand to mowing lawns or shoveling sidewalks. It is a great way to keep them busy on the weekends.

Thanks for Reading

So keep these tips in mind the next time that you hear your child say that they are bored or there is nothing to do on the weekend. Using these ideas from DealDash you will be able to help them find something to keep them busy that they will enjoy doing.

If you would like to get started with a sewing hobby you’re going to need some basics. Here is a guide from DealDash as to what should go into your sewing basket.

When you require sewing supplies to stitch on a fast button or fix a ripped seam, every house must have a basic sewing basket at the ready for those times. Likewise, when you are finished for the day, you can simply wave your magnetic pin holder over your work area. This will draw up all the roaming pins. You don’t want them ending up on the carpet and in someone’s foot (or a pet or child’s mouth!). A magnetic pin holder is a staple for any sewing basket.

Thread Spools

No sewing basket is complete without threads of many colors. The last thing you want to do is discover yourself requiring to stitch on a dark button and only having white thread to do it with. You need to have a large supply of both black and white, and at least one spool of navy, gray, brown, red, light and dark blue thread.

Odds and Ends

A stitch gauge looks like a small ruler with a moving gage on it. The stitch gauge is utilized to assist you to determine as well as to assist you in sewing straight lines and hems. This is not a “must have” but it is a nice addition to your basket.

Taylor’s chalk is used for making markings on your material. The chalk is quickly removed from your final product by brushing it away. You should have both light and dark taylor’s chalk.

Anti-fraying solution can be used to the edges of your material. This is to keep it from fraying either permanently or temporarily. The tube looks like super glue and can safely be used on the majority of materials. Spot check a small area first to determine if you can use it on your material.

Or are you comfortable simply purchasing fabric on sight through the retailer’s website? If you’re looking for basic quilting cotton then you are most likely safe to order online. If you’re looking for fancier garment cloth, then you might want to get those at a local brick and mortar store.

How Many Yards Do You Want?

You also need to keep into consideration the amount of fabric that you are going to need. Will the retailer have enough of the fabric for you to order online? Another thing to keep into consideration is whether or not the shipping time of the website will match with your needs. If you only need a small amount of fabric then it doesn’t make sense to order it online unless they offer free shipping.

Think About Pricing

You are also going to want to keep in mind prices when you are shopping for fabric online. While shopping online generally means some great deals you will need to remember that with fabric, cheaper is not always better. You need to find a site that sells fabric that is of good quality that will also fit into your budget.

Shop at a Known Website

You are going to need to be sure that you are shopping with a reputable online fabric retailer. This is so you know that you will be getting exactly what you have ordered. You also need to be sure that your information is kept safe.

Thanks for Reading

So keep all of this information in mind when you are looking to buy fabric for you and your children’s crafting needs. This way you all will be happy with the fabric that you have purchased. This way you all can spend more time focused on the crafts that you will be making with the fabric that you have bought online.

If you need any crafting supplies including cloth and notions you can get them online at a big box store such as Wal-Mart. DealDash has gift cards to Wal-Mart which is an excellent place to get your crafting supplies.

DealDash Crafts with String and Rope

DealDash

Crafting is fun but supplies can be expensive. Let’s try crafting with string or rope. Read on for more information from DealDash.

If you are looking for some fun and inexpensive crafts to do with your kids this summer consider using rope or string. There are many different crafts you can do with these items including the following, from DealDash.

Make a Rug – Fun and Functional

You can create a fun looking rug that could be used anywhere in the house. You could use rope to do so. Colorful is fun, so you can use a variety of different colors of rope. Alternately, you could use one single color. All you have to do is continue to form the rope into the shape that you are looking to make while hot gluing it together. These rugs are very sturdy and can be used anywhere in the house that you like.

Pencil Holders or Vases

Another thing that you could do with rope or string is to decorate empty cans. You can make anything from pencil holders to a place to plant a flower or some herbs. Again you just have to wrap the rope or string around the can while hot gluing it together. You can make a lot of different looks depending on the type of string or rope that you are using.

Make a Nautical Trash Can

If you are looking to add some interest to the trash cans around your home you can wrap rope around them. This will give them a cool nautical feel. You would follow the same steps as you would doing this with a can.

Macrame is Making a Comeback

Another rather simple craft that you can do with rope and string is called macrame. Macrame is the process of making knots in order to make things like pot holders. You and your children can even make bracelets using thin string. You have a lot of choices with this craft and you can find a lot of patterns on the internet.

Thanks for Reading

As you can see there are all kinds of things that you can do with rope or string that will help keep kids busy for an afternoon. The great part is you can make these awesome crafts very inexpensively.

Many parents wonder how they can instill creativity in their child.  They want to make life more exciting and fun for their child. It will be fun for both you and your kids. Here are some tips for encouraging creativity in your child’s life, from DealDash.

The Basics – Coloring Pictures

The first thing you can do is encourage them to color pictures.  You can get them a bunch of crayons and coloring books and let them have a fun time coloring different pictures that they like.  Don’t worry if they don’t stay in the lines as you want to focus more on them enjoying using the different colors to create a picture. You will see that the more often that they color they will get better at being neat and tidy and staying in the lines.

Clay Can Be Fun

You can also buy them some modeling clay and let them play with it. You can show them how to create different things with the clay and let their imaginations run wild.  Modeling clay is something that is very easy to work with so they can start over again as many times as they like to create different things.

Painting – Messy But Fun

Painting is another thing that you can do with your child to help encourage their creativity.  You can start with something as simple as finger painting or teach them something more complex like watercolor painting, again it is a great way for helping their imaginations develop.

Paper Craft is Fun and Inexpensive

You could also take printer paper and teach them how to do things like building a paper airplane or something more complex like origami.  Showing them how to make something creative out of something so simple is a great way to help foster creativity in your child.

Get Creative in the Kitchen

Having them get creative with food is another thing that you can do to help foster creativity in your child.  You could help them whip up a batch of interesting flavored cupcakes, try different toppings on pancakes or number of different things where they have to put the imagination to work.

DealDash Kids: Fun Crafts to do on Spring Break

DealDash

When you have young kids going on a Spring Break vacation isn’t in the cards. Here are some fun crafts from DealDash to do on school break.

When you have kids, you know the importance of keeping them occupied, especially during a school break. Kids need to do things to exercise their mind and creativity. There are so many activities kids can do besides going online and playing video games. Arts and crafts are one of the best things to do with your kids. There are so many crafts to choose from so I have narrowed down the best ones that kids will enjoy on their school break. Read on for some great craft ideas from DealDash.

Spin Tie Dye Art

Tie-dye activities are always a fun activity to do, and now that the weather is getting warmer you can do this one outside if you have a deck or patio.  The best way to do a tie-dye activity is to use your salad spinner as a spin art machine. Your kids can tie-dye many different things by using a salad spinner. It is important to use washable paint so you will not have any permanent marks on the spinner and no splatter. Kids will love this one because they can get outside and get a little messy.

Create a Fairy Garden

If you want to put your child’s imagination to good use, you should create a fairy garden. All you have to do is sprinkle some glitter over your garden and add different things such as colorful stones and rocks. Your kids will enjoy this activity because they will think the glitter is pixie dust.

If the weather where you are isn’t so nice yet, no problem. You can stay inside and help the kids paint stones for the fairy garden. There are kits to do this at the craft store, or you can easily use (washed) stones from outside and acrylic paint. If you would like your designs to last all through the year, be sure to spray a clear coat of paint on after the rocks are decorated to keep the rain off.

Slime

Slime is one of the most exciting crafts to do with your kids. All you need is glue, water, food coloring, and Borax solution. You can create different types of slime by using food coloring. Adding glitter and other things to your slime can also make it a lot of fun. Your kids will have a good time making slime and will enjoy playing with it. You can also add larger elements such as beads or foam balls to make textured slime. This activity is surprisingly not very messy.

Thanks for Reading

Crafting with your kids can be a lot of fun. I hope these three crafts have given you some ideas.  These crafts are easy to make, and it very fun for your kids. Arta and crafts are a great after-school activity to do once the homework is done or taking a break from electronics, not just on vacation breaks.  Your kids will activate their creativity and will enjoy spending time with you. Trust me, when they are older they will fondly remember the times spent crafting with you and not watching a screen.

Here are several crafts that you can do with some inexpensive crafting materials and items that you can get right outside your door. Read on for more information from DealDash.

Twig Words

You can make letters with twigs that you collect outside. Easily attach the twigs together with hot glue and then decorate them with things like ribbons. You can make your child’s name or make the name of someone that you would like to make a fun gift for. The possibilities are really endless here so let your imagination go wild. You can incorporate these twig words into a picture frame as well. You could try spelling out “Family”, “Sisters”, “Best Friends” or whatever your child wants. Then stick a picture in and it will make a lovely display for your house.

Make a Birdhouse

You can also create a bird feeder or a birdhouse with things that you find in the outdoors. There are a lot of materials like bark and twigs that can be used to make a really cool and functional home or feeder for birds. You can not only get the enjoyment of creating something with your kids but also get the enjoyment of watching the birds enjoy your creation. Don’t forget to put birdseed into your birdhouse or feeder. The birds will be much more likely to come visit you if you remember to do this step.

Paint Pet Rocks

Making pet rocks is another very simple and fun nature craft that you can do with your kids. You can again let your imagination take over as there are many cool animals or even monsters that you can create with different shaped rocks. All you need is some paint and paint brushes and some different shaped rocks and you are all set to craft. Don’t forget to wash and dry the rocks before you paint them. Otherwise, the paint won’t stick due to dirt and dust on the rocks.

DealDash: Create A Craft Space at Home

DealDash crafts

Love crafting? Having a dedicated craft space in your home makes things so much easier. Let DealDash help.

I’ve been a crafter all my life, but I’ve only had a dedicated craft room for the past two years. It was a must when we were looking at houses to buy. If you don’t have space for an entire craft room in your home, you just need a little corner all to yourself. It’s easy to make a small space the perfect little crafting area if you do things with organization in mind. Here are some ideas from DealDash to help you get started.

Where Can You Craft?

Anywhere! However, I suggest a nice little cozy corner in your kitchen, dining room, or family room. It’s best if there is a window for some natural light. You’ll definitely need at least one outlet, preferably more, depending on your craft of choice. Be sure that you get yourself a power strip surge protector as well. If you have a storage room, finished basement, or even a walk-in closet those would be even better. You don’t need a lot of space, just work with what you have.

What Do You Need in Your Craft Space?

It depends on the craft, of course! If knitting and crochet are your crafts of choice, then you most likely just need a comfy chair and somewhere to store your yarn and other supplies. Scrapbookers, on the other hand, will definitely need a desk along with lots of extra storage for all of their supplies. Think about all of your crafting supplies and how you can organize them nicely to fit into the space that you have available. You’re obviously the creative type, so get thinking!

Shelving, Racks, and Pegboards Oh My!

After you have started setting up your crafting space you’ll want to re-evaluate your storage situation. Almost every craft that I can think of would benefit from shelving, racks, or a pegboard – or possibly a combination. Shelving can be made inexpensively with brackets and painted 2X4s, and racks can be the cheaper plastic kind or you can spring for the nicer metal ones. Let your needs and your budget dictate what you install in your craft area.

Small Storage

Once the big items are taken care of in your crafting space, it’s time to think about the little things. Most crafting involves lots of tiny pieces, from needles, pins, thread, stickers, staples, markers, etc. Do yourself a favor and buy 5-10 matching small storage tubs for all of your different small supplies. Label them and fill them with your things. Arrange them on your shelving that you just put up, and enjoy your new crafting space!

DealDash Spooky Crafts: Jar Lights

Image result for halloween mason jar lights

Making jack-o-lanterns out of real pumpkins is fun, but if you’re not up for a big pumpkin guts mess this year try these spooky mason jar lights instead.

Let’s face it, carving pumpkins is a huge mess. It’s fun, and I would never deprive my children of this great childhood activity, but since both of my bigger kids are at school this year they are actually carving pumpkins on a field trip – I feel like I can skip it, since the baby doesn’t know what he’s missing! However, since I do like to keep things festive for the holidays, I thought that this spooky mason jar craft project was a happy medium between “huge mess” and “not decorating”. This craft is fun, easy, and only needs a few materials to make a very adorably spooky decoration.

Materials:

  • Mason Jar
  • String of fairy lights
  • Tissue paper (any color, but if you want to make “pumpkins” use orange)
  • Construction paper (black)
  • Paint (optional)
  • Scissors
  • Mod podge (or watered down elmer’s glue)
  • paintbrush

Instructions:

  1. Cut out your “pumpkin” face, or any other shape that you would like use to decorate the jar.
  2. Using the mod podge or glue, attach the face shapes to the inside of the mason jar.
  3. Using thin strips of tissue paper, attach 1 layer of tissue paper to the inside of the jar using the paintbrush, coat it with the mod modge or glue. Set aside to dry.
  4. Cover the outside of the lid with either paint or a layer of the tissue paper. I find that the paint looks better, but the tissue paper dries more quickly. It’s your choice.
  5. After everything has dried, put your fairy lights inside the jar. Put the battery pack in the bottom of the jar, and put the lights inside on top of the battery pack. You can arrange them in any way you like, but since they will be shining through the tissue paper it doesn’t really make much of a difference how you place them as long as the battery pack is on the bottom.
  6. That’s it! Enjoy your spooky Halloween mason jar.

I hope that you found this to be a fun craft to do by yourself or with your kids or grandkids. DealDash has some great auctions on craft and sewing supplies. Check out the sewing machines and more on DealDash. Click here and visit DealDash to see how much you can save. Good luck and happy bidding, everyone!

DealDash Sews: A Pillowcase Dress

Image result for pillowcase dress

Making a pillowcase dress is easy, simple, and fun. You can use it as a dress for a little girl, or a blouse for a lady.

I love to sew, and the pillowcase dress is one of the easiest projects that you can do. You can complete the pillowcase dress in less than an hour! It’s a low-cost, high reward project. My daughter has so many of these dresses. If you have a little girl or a granddaughter this project is perfect, you can even do it together.

Materials:

  • Pillowcase
  • Ribbon

Directions:

  1. Buy a pretty pillowcase or find one around your house.
  2. Figure out how much of the material you will need – I’ll attach a sizing guide for little girls at the bottom of these directions.
  3. Lay out your pillowcase, measure the length you need, and cut straight across the closed end, so you end up with a tube of fabric.
  4. Cut semi-circular openings out for the arms on the side of the tube that you just cut open. (see picture for guide:
  5. Image result for pillowcase dress arm openings
  6. Using your zig-zag stitch on the sewing machine, stitch around the arm openings that you just cut so they don’t start to unravel in the wash. Alternately, if you have a serger you can use that to serge around the arm openings.
  7. Hem and sew a tube for the ribbon on the front and the back of the pillowcase dress. Please see the picture below for reference:
  8. Image result for pillowcase dress ribbon casings
  9. Guide a long length of ribbon through both casings and tie. You can use a large safety pin to guide the ribbons through the tubes. You could also use a chopstick to push the ribbon through, instead.
  10. Image result for pillowcase dress ribbon casings

Here is the sizing guide, if you would like to make it into more of a pillowcase tank top then use a shorter length, or if you would like a longer dress you can layer another piece of fabric underneath to make the dress longer. This is a great project because you don’t have to follow many measurements or instructions, make it your own!

6 – 12 mos: width – 15″, length – 18-19″, finished length – 14-15″

18 – 24 mos: width – 18″, length – 20-22″, finished length – 16-18″

Size 2 – 8: width – 22″, length – 24-31″, finished length – 20-27″

DealDash often has amazing sewing machine auctions. I personally won a Brother sewing machine on DealDash. DealDash also has other sewing and craft items up for bid. Check out the auctions at this link here. Good luck and happy bidding everyone!

Brother 60-Stitch Computerized Sewing Machine

DealDash Kids Craft: Dying Pasta

Making dyed pasta for kid’s crafts such as jewelry and posters is easy, fun, and a great project to do with your kids or grandkids.

Everyone who has an elementary school kid has probably received a dyed pasta necklace at some point, whether it was for Mother’s Day, Easter, or just from art class at school. Why not have the same kind of fun at home with your kids by making dyed pasta for jewelry, posters, learning to count, etc.

Before you get started with the pasta dying experience, you should decide what projects you would like to do with the pasta so that you know what type of pasta to use. Then you can gather the macaroni, rotini, wagon wheel, penne or bow pastas and dye the exact ones that you need for your project. After you have decided what pasta shapes that you would like to dye, here’s how to make it happen:

Ingredients:

  • Pasta
  • Rubbing alcohol
  • Food coloring

Directions:

  1. Take out some solo cups or disposable bowls – 1 for each different color that you would like to dye your pasta. You can use non-disposable bowls, but be warned that the dye might stain your bowls.
  2. Fill the solo cups or bowls about 1/2-3/4 the way full with the pastas that you would like to use. Depending on the pasta shape that might be a lot (macaroni) or a little (wagon wheels).
  3. Fill the vessels almost to the top with (rubbing) alcohol. Be very careful if you are doing this project with kids that they don’t drink any!!
  4. Add your food coloring to the cups. If you want darker colors use a lot, if you prefer lighter colors, then use a little. It’s your call!
  5. Let the pasta soak overnight – or 8 hours if you are doing this in the morning.
  6. Stir occasionally to ensure all of the sides are coated with coloring.
  7. Strain the pasta, dumping all of the colored liquid out.
  8. Let each color dry on separate paper towels. Be careful that the color isn’t leaking through and staining whatever is underneath. If need be, put a piece of cardboard underneath. Drying will take a couple of hours.
  9. All done! Now you can feel free to let your imagination run wild and use up your freshly dyed pasta. These keep well in an airtight container or ziplock bag for a while, so don’t feel any pressure to use them all right away. Please don’t eat them after they have been dyed.

If you’re not into making your own dyed pasta jewelry and prefer the real thing, head on over to DealDash. DealDash has necklaces, bracelets, and earrings up for bid daily. Check out this link right here and it will take you to the jewelry on DealDash. Good luck and happy bidding everyone!

  • Box cutter/Razor knife
  • Ruler
  • Large chunk of craft foam for the soft body of the pillow – You can get this at a craft, hobby, or sewing store
  • Sewing machine (optional)

Instructions:

  • The first thing that you are going to need is a pattern. You can get the pattern from this link right here: http://blog.ipevo.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/PadPillow_sewing_pattern.pdf
  • Print out the pattern from the link. It will print the size that you need. Cut out the pattern, trace around them on your fabric with the chalk, and then cut out the sections from the cloth with the scissors.
  • Follow the directions that are enclosed in the pattern .pdf. You can then sew the pieces together using a sewing machine or the needle and thread. When you’re done sewing all three fabric cutouts together, you’ll have the basic shape of the iPad pillow stand. There will be an unsewn space in the back of the pillow to allow you to stuff the foam inside the fabric stand.
  • Next you need to cut the pieces of craft foam. Cut the first piece of craft foam using a ruler and box-cutter-type knife. This smaller piece should measure 12.6 x 9.1 x 1.6 inches.
  • After you have cut the basic shape and size then you need to shave down one side of the foam piece to form a semi-triangular shape instead of than leaving it as a simple rectangle.
  • After you’re done with the first piece of foam, cut the second triangular piece of foam. This larger piece should measure 6.3 x 5.7 x 12.6 inches where 6.3 inches is the base of the triangle, 5.7 inches is the height, and 12.6 inches is the length.
  • Next, put them into the fabric cover that you have sewn. Just add them one at a time, shoving them in through the opening of the fabric cover.
  • Lastly, sew up the seam that you have left open.

See, simple, easy, and fun! If you are looking for a project to do with your child, this would be a fun one, as long as your child is responsible enough to use the sharp materials. Please supervise your children closely.
