Lots of anglers like to stand at the edge of the river to catch fish. However, the majority of individuals make use of their boats. Prior to any fishing expedition, you need to guarantee that you have a great working fishing boat. A good boat will not leave you stranded. There are many different types of boats and you just need to decide which boat and gear is right for you. Read on for some helpful ideas from DealDash.

Sports Boats

Sports boats are popular and use numerous comforts while on the water. The Sports boats category can be used not just for fishing, but also playing and other fun activities in the water. There are lots of fun things you can use a sports boat for when you aren’t fishing. The whole family could have fun with a sports boat.

Skiff

Skiffs are also considered a fishing boat. These work best for smaller-sized water areas and can be easily steered around the water. They are excellent for just about any type of fishing due to the capability to move around the boat. The skiff watercraft is one of the fishing boats that can be used to catch a broader variety of fish, since you can use it in not only the bay or by the shore, but also in lakes or on streams.

Offshore Boat

If deep-sea fishing is the journey that you are “fishing for”, then you will require an offshore boat. The overseas boats are larger in size and generally range from 35-45 feet and can accommodate approximately 6 anglers or guests. The deep-sea fishing boat must be able to hold up against the ocean water and the pull of the bigger fish.

Of course, the offshore boat can likewise be used for fishing explorations in further away places then smaller boats. There are numerous things that you can do with an offshore boat other than fishing. You can take your guests out to see whales and other sea life, have a party, or even sleep overnight out on the water.

DealDash Feeds Wild Birds

DealDash

Feeding wild birds is a very nice hobby. It’s fun and helpful. Let DealDash show you how.

Wild birds are everywhere, in every state, and in every country. No matter where you live you’re going to have a population of wild birds. Feeding the wild birds in your area is a good pastime for you, but even better for the birds! The birds in your area will flock to your yard once they realize that they’ll be able to get a free meal. And with that, you’ll have a super opportunity to see some gorgeous birds in their own habitat. Read on for more information on feeding wild birds.

Decide What to Feed the Birds

Not all wild birds like to eat the same things. If you’d like to be the birds best friend, then you’ll want to figure out what wild birds you’re most likely to run into in your neighborhood and find out what they like to eat. Most birds do enjoy the prepared bag of “wild bird seed” mix that you can find in your local store, so if you can’t figure out what the favorite meal of your local birds is, then just get that. It will be eaten – wild birds aren’t the pickiest eaters around.

If you’d prefer to give a variety of food, then keep in mind that birds enjoy things other than bird seed. Some birds enjoy fruits such as apples, bananas, oranges, raisins, grapefruit, and pears.

Don’t Forget the water

Different wild birds might enjoy different types of food, but one of the things that all of them have in common is that they also need water. Water is best given in a bird bath. The bird bath has a multitude of purposes. First, the birds can drink out of it. Secondly, the birds can take a bath and clean their feathers while they are drinking and cool themselves off. And lastly, bird baths look terrific in the yard as a piece of decoration as well as helping the birds.

Choose Your Feeder

Once you’ve figured out what kinds of birds you’re most likely to attract and what to feed them, then you’re going to need a feeder. There are many, many different types of bird feeders on the market. There are tube feeders to put seeds in, there are nectar feeders if you are aiming to feed hummingbirds, and there are suet cages if you’re looking to feed larger birds who enjoy eating suet. It’s up to you what kinds of birds you’re interested in attracting, just be sure that you do your research and get the correct food and feeder to use.

DealDash Helps: Get Rid of Red Mites

DealDash

Red spider mites on your plants can be a pain! Here are some tips, tricks, and ideas to get rid of them, from DealDash.

Spider mites are tiny pests that can infest your plants and can be quite difficult to destroy. Mites cling to the bottom of the plant’s leaves on many different types of plants. These red spider mites live by sucking the nutrients out of the leaves. This can cause the leaves to dry out and die, which spells doom for your plants. Once you’ve identified a red spider mite infestation on your plants, you’re in for a battle. Here are some tips and ideas from DealDash to get rid of these red spider mites in a more natural way.

Figure Out if You Have Red Mites

Firstly, you need to figure out if you have red spider mites. Some signs that you might have red spider mites include: yellow, tan, or white spots on the leaves, tiny white or red spots on the leaves that move (these are the spider mites, and white, cottony webbing that appears on the underside of the leaves. Once you have determined that you have red spider mites then it’s time to get rid of them. You could use poison, but why not try some more natural methods first?

Treat the Red Mites

First, immediately take the infected plants to an area without any other plants. This will prevent the spider mites from spreading and infesting your other plants.

After removing the plants, it’s time to begin pruning the plant. Remove any stems, leaves, or other infested parts of the plant and throw in the trash. Don’t just throw them out in the yard, be sure to put them in the garbage. Otherwise, you might infest your other plants.

Next, spray your plant down with water, and then spray on a solution of baby shampoo and cooking oil in a 1:1 ratio of Tablespoons. If you’re just spraying one single plant then you only need 1 Tablespoon of each. Spray plants thoroughly, repeating every four to seven days until spider mites appear gone.

Finally, to prevent future red spider mite attacks I recommend giving them the special spray once per week until you are 100% sure that they have been eradicated from your garden.

DealDash Helps the Environment

DealDash helps

Most people want to help our environment, but they might not know how. Here are some tips and ideas from DealDash to get you started.

“Save the Earth” and “Go green” might be some phrases that you have heard when thinking about helping the environment, but what do those things really mean? There are hundreds of ways that you can help our environment, some of them easy, some of them hard, and some of them you might already be doing! Read on, and find out more from DealDash.

Don’t Waste Water

This might be something that you do already to save money. Wasting water is bad for both the environment and for your wallet. You can do lots of little things daily to help save on water. Here are some tips:

  • If you water your grass, do so in the evening. If you do it in the morning it will just burn off and you’ll have to do it again later.
  • Turn off the tap when you’re brushing your teeth.
  • If you wash your car, fill up a bucket and get your car wet with a big sponge. Then soap up the car. Don’t turn on the actual hose until it’s time to wash all of the soap off.
  • If you garden, try to water your plants every 2nd day if possible instead of every day. You can probably get away with this if it’s 80 degrees or below – or cloudy. Don’t forget that the rain that mother nature provides counts as watering your plants, too! No need to double-water.

Recycle

Are you recycling at home? Go to your city or town’s website and find the waste management section. From there you will be able to find out your town or city’s policy on recycling. After that, then be sure that you are putting all of your can, bottles, and papers into your recycle bin.

Here’s a fun fact from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA):

If an office building of 7,000 workers recycled all of its office paper waste for a year, it would be the equivalent of taking almost 400 cars off the road.

Get New Lightbulbs

Have you replaced all of your light bulbs yet with CFL light bulbs? Compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs) last 10 times longer than a standard light bulb and use two-thirds less energy. They cost more initially but will end up saving you money in the long run since they last so much longer.

You can also consider getting LED light bulbs. These last even longer than CFL bulbs, up to 15 years! DealDash carried packs of LED bulbs that can be controlled by your smartphone! Not only that, but you can change their colors and even program them to come on and off when you want them to. Isn’t that amazing?
