DealDash Home: Reorganize a Small Bathroom

dealdash

Having a small bathroom can be a tricky problem. However, with good organization, you can make it work for your family. Here are some tips and tricks from DealDash to help.

Small, cramped bathrooms with little space and lots of stuff can present big problems. This is especially true for a busy family. With items strewn across the bathroom countertop with no designated space make it difficult to find exactly what you’re looking for. This can be a disaster when morning routine time is at a minimum. You can conquer this problem with an honest assessment of your bathroom’s contents and some creativity. Read on for some helpful ideas from DealDash.

Get Rid of Excess

For starters, look around your tiny bathroom. If you have products in your bathroom that you didn’t like after the first use, or that someone who previously visited left there and your family doesn’t use, get rid of them. This can be a little distressing if you focus on the money that you spent on buying it. However, if it’s taking up valuable space in your cramped bathroom quarters, it’s costing you more in stress than it’s worth.

You’ll probably be amazed at how much space you can free up by clearing out these unused, unwanted items. I find that makeup and sample-sized products are the worst offenders in my bathroom. How about yours?

What’s Left?

Next, after you’ve cleared these items out, assess what’s left. If there’s a drawer for makeup, but nothing in it is sorted, consider some small boxes or baskets to place them in. DealDash can help if you need home organization items.

Place lipsticks and glosses in one bin, another for makeup compacts, and another for makeup applicators such as brushes and sponges. If you and your family don’t use these items you will have a much quicker time, as these items take a while to sort.

If there are a lot of hair products, consider using a larger basket to place them in. You can store this container under the sink which can be easily removed and put away each morning. This can be very helpful if more than one person in your family has long hair and each has their own hair dryer, flat iron, curler, etc. Check DealDash to see their Fashion, Health, and Beauty products.

Use Your Pantry

Are you in the habit of stocking up on products you seem to go through quickly such as toilet paper, lotion, or toothpaste? If yes, then consider storing those in a pantry or linen closet instead of in the bathroom itself.

Make sure all family members know where to look for a replacement or refill should they run out. This is especially important when it comes to toilet paper! In my family, we store all of the paper products in one bathroom closet and all of the other replacement items such as shampoo and toothpaste in our second bathroom’s closet. This makes taking stock of our items before we go shopping much easier.

Get Everyone on Board

Finally, and most importantly, get your family to agree on using and maintaining the organization system that you have created. It’ll do no good to organize only to find things disheveled and unorganized the following week. You should also ask for input when devising a system. You will all want to be on the same page and make sure it’s one that everyone involved can live with. Don’t forget to ask your kids as well. When kids are allowed to give their ideas and input they are much more likely to take part in the organization process.

DealDash Quick and Easy Home Organization

DealDash

Everyone wants to live in a clean and organized home. Sometimes it can be hard to get started. Here are some tips from DealDash to help you.

Organizing your home can seem like a daunting task. However, is definitely something that you and your family should get on board with doing.  Here are some tips that will help you in getting your home organized, from DealDash.

What are Your Unique Needs?

You want to create a standard of your own as far as what is organized in your home.  Just because a room is completely clean doesn’t mean that it is organized. You need to come up with a standard of organization that works for you and your unique needs. Don’t worry if everything isn’t as perfect as in a magazine. You need to figure out what works best for you and your family.

Strive for “Great” and not “Perfect”

You should certainly strive to not be going for perfection when it comes to having an organized house.  Sure, you may see pictures of houses that look completely organized however this is really not a realistic representation of an organized home.  Just remember that you need to set your standard for organization. Keep in mind that this will be completely different depending on if you have kids or pets, or if you live alone or with another adult. It all just depends on your own personal situation.

Make a Plan

You need to consider grouping like tasks together.  Make a list of the things that you need to do during the day and group other things you can do easily at the same time.  That will make things a lot easier when it comes to keeping your house clean and organized.

Be Proactive

Another thing you’re to keep in mind to keep your house organized is to make sure you are being proactive to reduce the amount of clutter that’s in your home. You want to make sure you’re not just buying something simply to buy it. Make sure that you’re going to use it and love it so that it will not be cluttering up your home.

Thanks for Reading

Organizing your house can seem like a lot of work. However, if you do some planning you’ll see that it will be a much easier task than you first imagined. It is best to also work on getting your family involved as it will be a lot simpler to keep your home organized if everyone pitches in.

The great news is that you can turn these boxes and bottles into some cool crafty items. Your kids would love to help with a project like this, so get them involved. You can make a miniature first aid kit. No matter what you put into your first aid kits you can be sure that they will not take up a lot of room when you put them in your purse. These kits are perfect for taking care of little emergencies that can come up during your day. You should put in a few band-aids, alcohol wipes, q-tips, and a mini Neosporin.

DealDash Frugal: Organize Those Coupons!

DealDash

Being frugal can be fun when you use coupons. Here are some tips to keep things organized, from DealDash.

Coupons, if used wisely, can really assist in saving money on things like groceries. One problem many couponers run into that stops them from saving as much as they can is not having their coupons organized. Here are some ways you can keep your coupons neat and tidy, from DealDash.

Sort by Expiration

One thing that you should do to get your coupons organized is to sort them by expiration date. That way you will be able to know what coupons should be used when. Nothing would be worse than counting on savings from coupons only to find out that they have expired. You might want to consider writing the expiration date on them a little bigger or putting a sticky note on them with the expiration date. Sometimes the dates are very hard to read at a glance because they are so small.

Put them in a Binder Book

Getting a book to organize your coupons should be your next step. You should get a binder that is a workable size with clear pages so that you can easily access your coupons. This binder should one that easily take with you when you go shopping. Being frugal, you might want to wait until the “Back to School” sale at the store to get your binder. Until then you can just keep them in an envelope.

Sort them Often

You will want to sort through your coupons every so often so that you can get rid of any of them that may have expired. Again, this is so you do not run into a situation where you are counting on savings only to be disappointed  by expired coupons. Personally, I like to give my coupons a quick check every Sunday when I put the new ones in and take out the ones that I plan on using that day for my grocery shopping.

The Benefits of Coupon Organization

You will find that there are a great many benefits to keeping your coupons organized. First of you will be leaving good organizational skills. You will also be saving money of course and you can even turn your coupon collecting into a money making opportunity by doing things like teaching couponing classes. You can also do your kids a favor by teaching them this very useful skill.

Thanks for Reading

Organizing your coupons is the first step in maximizing your savings and learning more about a very useful skill. Couponing with a little effort is actually a rather simple skill to learn. You should be sure to organize your coupons before your next shopping trip to be able to have the simplest time possible using your coupons.

DealDash: Is Your Lawn Ready for Spring?

DealDash Spring is here! It’s time to get your lawn items organized. Read this article for some tips and tricks from DealDash.

Whether or not it looks like it where you are living, spring is officially here. To some, it means watching the snow melt; to others, fun in the sun. Sadly, my spring is the snow melting variety. Regardless of the weather where you are located, there are a few things every person should be doing at the beginning of spring. Read on for some suggestions from DealDash to get organized.

Shovels and Snowblowers

If you’re living in the northern states, chances are you know someone who still has snow on their lawn. Even so, it’s time to put our shoveling equipment away for the next two seasons. Remember when you’re doing this, that it is best to put your shovels out of the way, but not in hard-to-reach places. There’s always the chance of another snowstorm if you’re living in New England! Also, you’ll need them in a few months, so it would be wise to keep them where you can get to them easily.

If you use a snowblower, you’re not likely to need it again until Winter comes again. Any snow from here on out should just be a dusting. You can put your snowblower away in the garage or shed after you have run the gas out. To do this, simply take the snowblower outside, start it up, and let it run until it is out of gas. You’ll want to do this soon so you can put it away sooner. After all, snowblowers are bigger, bulkier, and more likely to get in the way than the shovels.

Is Your Lawnmower Ready?

After that, we can get the lawnmower ready. With the beautiful green grass growing slowly but surely on your lawn comes the work of mowing it. How do we prepare for that task? Simple!

Now that the snowblower and shovels are put away, we must pull our lawnmower out of the garage or shed. That’s only the beginning of lawnmowing prep work, though. We must be sure our mower is ready to go. You can do this by hiring a professional, but it is much cheaper to do these simple tasks yourself.

Only a few things must be checked before mowing the lawn. The first thing I recommend is the air filter. That’s the cylinder of folded paper held together by grates made of plastic, metal, or both. If it’s clean and dry, you can leave it be. Chances are, though, you will need to replace it. After that, you should check the gas and oil levels. If you don’t know how to do this, remember that it is approximately the same process as checking the oil level in your car. When in doubt, please hire a professional.

Tips for Home Organization from DealDash

DealDash

Keeping your home organized can be tricky. Follow these tips from DealDash to make it easier.

If you are looking to have a more organized home, especially if you have children, it can seem like a daunting task. The great news is that it doesn’t need to be this way. There are actually many simple tips available that can help you get organized and stay that way. Read on for more information from DealDash.

Baskets A-Plenty

One thing that you can do that will help your home stay more organized is having a basket set aside to put things in. That way you will not have to worry about running around the house looking for items that you need to return to their rightful places. If you put a nice basket into the main common rooms such as the kitchen, family room, etc. it will make things easier to tidy up later on.

Reduce Your Clothing

When it comes to organizing your clothes you need to keep a laundry basket to put dirty clothes in instead of using the floor as your laundry basket. This seems like common sense, but I have seen way too many people skip the basket and throw them directly onto the floor. You should also only keep clothes that you like and donate the rest. If you have a lot of clothes that you do not like wearing you will simply end up with a lot of clutter in your closet. There’s no reason to keep anything that you haven’t worn in the past year unless it’s a special event item such as a gown or a tux to attend weddings.

Organization Needn’t be Expensive

You should remember that you do not need to purchase expensive organizational items to organize your home. There are many things that you can purchase at the discount store that would be perfect for organizational purposes in your home. This will save you a lot of money when it comes to organizing your home. If you’re in the market for baskets, the craft store has a great selection and you can always find a coupon.

File Your Papers

You should also begin a filing system for each piece of paper that you get in your home. This way you will not have to search for an important paper like an electricity bill. This will also keep surfaces clear in your home. You can find a nice rack for this sort of thing at the office supply store.

Thanks for Reading

These are just a few things that you can do in order to get more organization in your home. Try doing little things each day to get your home more organized. You will be able to see a huge improvement in your home. Also, organizing your house doesn’t need to be a great deal of work and with tips like these, you can get your home organized and looking great in no time at all.

DealDash Asks Questions Before Organizing

DealDash

Here are some things that you should ask yourself before organizing your home. Read on for tips from DealDash.

When you are looking to organize your home you really need to start with a plan. Of course, you could just jump in and get started, doing things here and there with no plan. However, you are not likely to get much done at all. Answer these four questions before you organize your home and you will be able to come up with a solid plan to get things done, with a little help from DealDash.

Why Do You Want to Organize Your Home?

Firstly, you’ll want to do is figure out why you are choosing this particular time to organize your home. Some people want to live in a home with less clutter while others want a home that is faster to clean. You need to know why you want to organize your home so you can make a solid plan to do just that.

If you are trying to get organized before a guest comes to visit, you might do better to use your time cleaning instead of organizing. You can get to the organizing after your guest leaves. Usually, things get dirtier as you are organizing, then you have to clean up after. If you’re on a short time schedule it might not make sense to do it at this time.

How am I Going to Organize My Home?

You need to make a good plan as to just how you are going to organize your home. For example, what do you plan to do with the things that you are going to get rid of in your home? Will you donate them? Do they need to be recycled or thrown away? This is an important part of the organizational process. Don’t skip this question, the answers will provide you some direction when it comes to organizing your home.

When am I Going to Organize My Home?

You also need to figure out when you are going to organize your home. You need to decide whether you are going to spend your weekends organizing or if you are going to take some time in the evenings after work to get organizational tasks done. This can help you to not procrastinate and get things done.

What in My Home Needs to be Organized?

Finally, you will need to figure out what exactly in your home needs to be organized. Does every room in your home need more organization or just a few? This can help you determine what exactly needs to be done and will give you a better idea about the time frame that you will need to get it completed.

Thanks For Reading

Getting all of these questions answered is going to go far in helping you develop a plan to get your home organized. Thank you for reading the newest DealDash article. I hope that you found these organizing tips helpful.

DealDash: 6 Things Organized People Do

DealDash organized

Being organized makes your life easier. Here are 6 things organized people do, from DealDash.

Have you ever seen those moms who leave their kids at school who are well-dressed, with their hair perfect? They look like they have their whole life more organized than you could ever hope? Well, all those people have some secrets in common, which they use in order to save time and do the tasks they have to do every day. Here they are:

They Use Their Smartphone as an Assistant

This fun gadget can help you communicate with your peers, can be your calendar, personal assistant, and the reminder of all your daily tasks. Synchronize your phone’s calendar with your spouse’s phone calendar and stop stressing to remember jot every appointment in different places. There are a lot of apps available on the market today that can help you do it, no matter if you have an iPhone or an Android.

They Organize Their Mail

It doesn’t matter if it’s the mail you get from the mailman or your emails, try to pay your bills when you receive them. Also, try to answer e-mails at exactly the moment you receive them if you can. The technology that we have today can help make your life easier, and you can pay almost all of your bills online.

They Plan Their Meals in Advance

It might look like a lot of work for a single individual, but planning your meals in advance makes life so much easier. The planning of a meal does not need to be made with military precision, be flexible. When you are eating breakfast with your family, you can discuss a meal plan that appeals to all of your family members. After that, you can go to the supermarket and buy the required ingredients. Let your family help you, make life easier on yourself!

They Wash The Laundry at the Right Time

Have you ever went to sleep the night before a special meeting, with an outfit in mind for the next day…Only to wake up in the morning, and find that your ideal outfit is not clean? I know how frustrated you were. It’s happened to me many times. This is why you should try and wash your clothing and put it away as soon as possible to prevent this kind of issue.

They Wake Up Earlier Than Required

If you don’t like to wake up early, I understand that! I am a night owl, myself. I’m sure that you try to take advantage of every minute of sleep that you can. However, organized people know that even five minutes can make a big difference in the morning. Waking up earlier can give you some extra time to do your morning tasks before the rest of your family wakes up and makes their demands.

They Pack Their Bag the Night Before

The morning is always a chaotic time, especially if you have kids. Avoid any mistakes and forgotten items by packing your bag the night before. If you bring your lunch to work, make sure that you pack that as well. Just don’t forget it in the fridge in the morning!

DealDash Tackles Shoe Organization

dealdash shoes

No place to store all of your shoes? Maybe you just need to get creative with help from DealDash.

How many women do you know that happen to have this problem? Perhaps you live in a house with little storage or a small apartment, and you are having trouble storing all of your shoes. You will always have to find some space for your shoes, especially if you buy them regularly. Do you get stressed when you can’t find the perfect place for your shoes? I am going to give you some simple rules to follow when organizing. I’ll also show you some creative ideas to arrange and organize your shoes. I hope they help you with your shoe storage problem.

The Shoe Rules

Rule 101:

It doesn’t matter how you organize them, just remember never to place your shoes on an outside porch or balcony, kitchen, bathroom or in closets. These places are home to heat, humidity, and general dampness. This will damage your shoes.

Rule 102:

Don’t throw them on top of one another, not even if you are in a hurry. Have some respect for your shoes. No matter if they’re cheapies from the discount store or high-end stilettos, it can damage them to throw them on top of each other. Don’t abuse your shoes, and in exchange, they will take care of your feet.

Rule 103:

Alternate different pairs, and don’t use the same pair for more than 2-3 days at a time. Wearing a single pair of shoes for a whole week is going to deteriorate them really fast. If you have a spouse that doesn’t approve of your shopping hobby, just show them this article and tell them that you need to buy more shoes so you can alternate them!

Organization Suggestions

  • Organize your shoes by categories such as sports, special occasions, work, walking, slippers, etc.
  • Inspect each shoe every six months to make sure which ones you can still wear and which ones you have to throw out. If they are still in usable condition, please consider donating them, especially if they are work-type shoes. Thrift stores are always in need of career wear to help prospective job-seekers with their interview outfits.

Pictorial Suggestions

Here are some suggestions on how and where to place your shoes for organization and aesthetic principal. I hope at least one of them will interest you:

Let DealDash Help You Kill Procrastination

DEALDASH procrastination

Stop wasting your precious time with procrastination. Get organized, get your life together, with DealDash.

Do you have a roommate? Let’s hope his name isn’t Mr. Household Clutter! If you are a parent, especially a mom, you should know by now that the most common clutter hot-spot is your children’s bedroom. Clutter can also become a real pain in your office, so here are some tips that will help you organize your stuff and make you comfortable. Stop procrastinating, and let DealDash help you!

Find a Home for Your Items

This is one of the reasons why you always lose everything – your items don’t have a home. It’s almost like all of your clutter is traveling through another universe! I’m you know what I mean, right? It’s a fact, trying to find your lost items in places you never thought about is not the greatest experience. This is why you must stop this behavior and act on it by stopping the procrastination and getting to work.

Make sure all of your items “live” somewhere, especially if it’s something that you use frequently. Also, make sure the storage place is easy to access. Personally, I love the modular storage shelves with the small cubes that hold items. Pretty baskets are also a bid win in my household.

Dump the Duplicates

There are certain items which do not require copies. I guess this applies almost to any item. Why do you have eight coffee mugs? How many people ever drink coffee at your house at one time? Personally, I can only think of a time when there were 4 people at my house drinking coffee at once, the morning after my in-laws spent the night! Donating duplicates to the thrift store has never been easier with this simple rule: One in, one out. That’s all.

And if you get something new, make sure you get rid of the older version of the same item you have at home. There are people that still keep their tube TV in their garage, I mean, why?

Stick to a Schedule

There are places that need daily de-cluttering, such as kitchen counters. There are also places that can be tackled weekly. You have to be systematic and set up a schedule. More importantly, after you are done with making a schedule, stick to it! Don’t let procrastination win, just do it.

Look for Simple Clutter Control Solutions

There is always an easy solution to even the biggest of clutter problems. Some people still can not keep track of where they put their keys. Put a hook by the front door; you can hang the keys up every time you walk in or out of the door. There are a lot of simple ideas that turn to be life savers, just think of something you have difficulties with and try to come with a simple solution.

There is no reason to feel embarrassed about your clutter, but it is important to do something about it if you want to live a more organized lifestyle.

DealDash Tips to Be an Organized Bidder

DealDash Organized

Being organized on DealDash is a key element to being successful. If you’re a new bidder be sire to read these tips so you can start off ahead of the game.

When you first sign up to DealDash you need to get (and stay) organized. An organized bidder is a winning bidder. One of the first things that I would suggest that you do is make yourself an Excel spreadsheet. This spreadsheet will be useful for many things that I will tell you about later on in this article. The information will help you make educated decisions when bidding in DealDash auctions.

Keep Track of Bidders

One of the first things that you are going to want to keep track of on your Excel spreadsheet is bidder names. You’ll want to make a notation of any Power Bidders that you recognize, what they’re bidding on, and what price the auction ended up costing. This will be important information, you will eventually uncover different patterns in their bidding preferences and styles.

Keep Track of Auctions

Next, you’ll want to make a notation of the DealDash auctions that you enter. You’ll want to put the name of the auction and how many bids that you placed. You’ll also note the final auction price, and if you won or lost. Finally, you’ll want to note the time and date that the auction started and finished. This information will become useful in figuring out popular bidding days and times.

Your Wins and Competition

You’ll also want to keep a separate area with just your wins.  This will help you stay organized when bidding, and you can be sure that you aren’t “double buying” anything. It will also be helpful to note which bidders were your stiffest competition, and what dollar amount they dropped out at.

Your Budget

Don’t forget to write down every time you make a purchase of bids or BIN (Buy It Now) to help keep you on your budget. Sometimes it’s hard in the heat of bidding to not pay attention to how much you are spending. Keeping a list of bidding and BINning expenses will help you stick to your budget.

DealDash Organizes Your Kitchen

DealDash organizes kitchen

An organized kitchen looks cleaner, is easier to cook in, and is a lot more fun! Cooking isn’t a chore with an organized kitchen.

Could your kitchen use a little organization help from DealDash? Most people’s kitchens are a bit disorganized, and it makes cooking more difficult and time-consuming. You don’t want that! You want things to be easy, right? Well, follow these tips from DealDash and you will be cooking in your beautiful, organized kitchen in no time!

Over-the-Sink Cutting Board

To give yourself more counter space and keep it clutter-free while you’re cooking be sure to pick up an-over-the sink cutting board. These cutting boards are like magic – they make the clean-up vanish! Just push all of the scraps off of the board directly into the dish disposal and presto! All clean!

Forget the Spice Rack

Forget the spice rack, get yourself some magnetized strips and mount them to your wall or side of the cabinet. Then get some round metal containers to put your spices into, and stick them onto the strips. It will save you counter space, cabinet space, and look very clean as well.

Speaking of Magnetized Strips

Speaking of magnetized strips, get another strip and mount it on your backsplash area to hold your cooking knives. This will save you some counter space because you won’t have to have a knife block out, and it will look very professional as well as keep the knives within quick grasp when you need them.

Hooks A-Plenty

If you’re wondering where you can store all of those tongs, soup ladles, spatulas, and others – hooks! Designate a place in your kitchen that you can install hooks, and hang up all of those pesky, hard to store cooking implements. You can even install the hooks on one side of the fridge if you get the ones that are made to be removable – they are made by “Command,” and they don’t leave a mess when you remove them. I love these hooks and use them for many things in my home. I can attest that they don’t leave damage when you remove them,

These hooks are awesome and I use them for many things in my home, and can attest that they don’t leave damage when you remove them, however if you are removing them from a painted wall you have to do it very slowly and carefully otherwise it will chip the paint.

DealDash Organizes Efficiently

There are many ways to keep your belongings organized. Let DealDash help you keep things organized efficiently.

No one likes to live in a messy, disorganized, chaotic house. Unless you live alone, then my guess is that you are most likely cleaning up after yourself as well as others. I live in a large house with my family of 5, and if I didn’t do my best to keep things organized then things would be an absolute wreck. Here are some tips to keep things organized efficiently.

Cellphone, socks and library book hunts can cause distraction and frustration, especially in the morning when you are trying to get everyone off to the school bus and to work. Being organized and stable can create efficiency, since everything will always be in the same place. Establish a permanent home for all the items you have, especially the ones that you use every day and won’t leave the house without taking.

When you are trying to organize your home, go from room to room and make space for all of your items. Organize paperwork, electronics cords, clothes,  shoes, Blu-Rays, and video games in a way that you can easily find what you are looking for.  It may take you a few extra minutes to put things away each time, but you’ll save a plenty of time to make up for it from having to search for what’s important. It will also save you much frustration and stress as well.

When you’re thinking about efficient organizing, and transforming your home from chaos to order – think baskets and shelves! Baskets and shelving units are your best friends when it comes to keeping things organized and neat, especially if you live in a home with multiple people and many belongings. Another favorite organizational item that I like to use is a hybrid of baskets and shelves – a storage unit with cloth boxes. These are great in a playroom, family room, or even a bedroom. You can even label the fabric boxes to keep things even more organized.

I hope that you found this article helpful. DealDash has many storage solutions and shelving units available for auction. DealDash has lots of variety for home storage. Just click this link to visit DealDash and check out the auctions. Good luck and happy bidding everyone!

DealDash Reorganizes Rooms

Does the change of seasons get you feeling a little mopey? Try reorganizing a room, it will get you thinking positively.

Even though I love fall sometimes the change of seasons makes me feel a little blah. Anytime I feel blah I like to do a little “retail therapy” on DealDash, and then do a little reorganizing in my home.

I’ve been feeling a little down lately, so I decided to reorganize my kid’s playroom over the past weekend. Getting rid of things, moving things around, and getting new things are just the recipe to get me feeling more positive. Everyone organizes differently, but here’s how I go about organizing the playroom. A kitchen would be organized in a different way, of course, but this way is good for a kid’s room, a den, a playroom, etc.

Firstly, I get rid of all of the things that I don’t need – be it little scraps of paper, broken things, or things that I just don’t need or want anymore. The better stuff goes in the donation box, and the rest goes in the trash.

Next, it’s good to group things together – the books with the books, the Legos with the Legos, and so on. After everything has been grouped together, see if any groups should be put next to each other, for example the group of crayons could be put with the group of paints, and so on.

Make sure that each group of items has a “home” that it belongs to, which can be on a shelf, in a cloth bin, or in drawers. If there are some random items left over that don’t fit into any specific group, I like to put the random items together in their own little group.

The more organized you are, the easier it is to clean, which is the next step. As you are putting the groups of items in their homes, be sure to give the bin or shelf a quick wipe with a cloth before you put everything away. After that you can vacuum or sweep and mop. There, doesn’t everything look better and more organized now?

DealDash has some great organizational tools such as shelves, bins, and drawers to help you get organized. Be sure to check DealDash so you can get a great deal and have fun while you are doing it. Just click here to visit DealDash. Good luck and happy bidding everyone!

DealDash Helps: Organize the Office

It’s irrelevant if you have a home office or an office away from home, life is easier when things are organized.

Here are a few ideas to get you thinking about organizing your office space while maximizing your work output. Let’s face it, when things are disorganized it’s hard to keep your focus on the tasks ahead of you. In this article we will look at some ways to keep the elements of your office organized.

What is the most common item to be messy in an office? Any guesses? It’s a bit old-fashioned these days, but it’s actually paper! Paper messes in offices come from many different sources such as mailings, advertisements, contracts, business notes, faxes, and believe it or not some people even print their emails! With all of these various and sundry papers sometimes it’s hard to figure out how to organize them. A filing cabinet is one solution, but my personal favorite solution to this problem is to scan in the papers and get rid of them all-together!

It’s easy and eco-friendly to go (mostly) paper-free. All you need is a scanner, a computer, and a recycle bin! First, separate out the papers that you absolutely have to keep, but this should be a very small pile. Next, sort out a pile of papers that are semi-important that you will scan in and then recycle. The last pile is just junk paper that you will recycle without even scanning in. If you are in need of a new scanner or printer be sure to check out the selection on DealDash. You can see the selection right here in the Electronics and Computers category.

Another problem area organization-wise is writing implements. Whether it’s pens, pencils, markers, or dry erase markers you need to find a solution to keeping all of these different items organized. May I suggest something a little “different?” How about a cutlery tray? You can get a lovely wooden cutlery tray that has either pre-determined sections, or there are other trays that you can move the sections around to suit your needs. It’s a quick and easy solution to a common problem in an office setting. Bed, Bath, and Beyond has some very nice wooden cutlery trays and you can even get a gift card to purchase one on DealDash. Just click this link right here and it will take you to a few different denominations of BBB card on DealDash.

I hope that this article has you thinking about ways that you can improve your office organization. If you need more inspiration be sure to check out the auctions on DealDash. DealDash has lots of organizational items. Good luck and happy bidding everyone!
