DealDash Throws a Budget Summer Party

DealDash

Summer is coming, why not throw a summer party? Let DealDash help you keep things on budget with these tips.

Summer is the perfect time for parties. Whether you are having a beach party or a party inside, you need to have a budget. Many people want to throw the most impressive party of the year, but you don’t have to spend a lot of money to do that. Here are some tips to throw a summer party on a budget, from DealDash.

Make or Buy Cheap Invitations

Unless you are sending out wedding invitations, you can use simple invitations to let your guests know about your party. Your party does not always need paper invitations.  Just simply sending out an email invitation can have the same effect. You can also create an event page on Facebook so that everyone can RSVP. Another idea might be to make your own cards. All you need is a stack of construction paper, a printer, and a little time and creativity.

Budget Your Decorations

You don’t have to spend a lot of money on decorations. Instead of getting stressed out about not having fancy china, you can mix and match bowls with different designs.  If you are having a fancy party and you want place cards you can use everyday items and use a sharpie to write the guests name. For a centerpiece, you can use candles from the dollar store. You don’t have to blow the budget to still make things nice. A few discount bouquets of flowers from the grocery store will look great, and make things into a party atmosphere. Additionally, if you would like to have balloons at your party, the dollar store has helium balloons, and quite a large selection at that!

Cheap but Tasty Food

Instead of cooking the most expensive meat or dessert you can easily budget your money by using appetizers. You can create your own appetizers by adding dip with vegetables, and fruit. If you are tight on money, you can have a summer potluck. When you have a potluck, your guests bring a dish, and you can cook the main dish. Saving money on food will help your budget. Also, you could skip the real food altogether and throw a make-your-own ice cream sundae party. It’s a lot of fun, delicious, and the guests will love it.

DealDash Quick Tips for Allergy Season

DealDash

If you suffer from seasonal allergies there are a few things that you can do to try to ease your sniffles a bit. Here are some helpful tips from DealDash.

More than 50 million Americans suffer from seasonal allergies such as pollen. If you’ve been wondering if there’s anything that you can do to ease your suffering, DealDash has a few tips for you. Read on for some helpful information from DealDash.

Try Saltwater

As with a scratchy throat due to a cold, gargling warm salt water can help for allergies as well. Mix up a spoonful of regular table salt with a cup of warm water. Gargle with this twice per day while you are suffering from allergies. It can help ease your dry, scratchy throat.

Don’t Bring the Outside In

I have never been a fan of keeping my shoes on inside. I always make my family take them off right at the front door. If you’re suffering from seasonal allergies, then it’s important that you get into this habit as well. Pollen and other allergens can cling to your shoes as you’re walking around outside and you can bring them in and scatter them throughout your house by just walking around.

Shower the Pollen Away

When the pollen counts are high for the day, it’s important to take a shower in the evening before you get into bed. Even if you change into pajamas and fresh socks, there is still pollen clinging to your hair and skin that you can transfer to your bed.

Keep it Clean

If you are suffering from seasonal allergies you need to make sure that you do some extra cleaning around the house. No matter how careful you are about taking off your shoes and showering at night, you’re going to get some pollen in your house. Doing some extra dusting, vacuuming, and mopping is important if you’re suffering from seasonal allergies.

Thanks for Reading

I hope that reading this article has given you a few good ideas on how to improve your life with seasonal allergies. Follow these tips and you’ll be having a much better time this allergy season. Here’s to feeling better soon!

DealDash Family – Enjoy Your April Vacation!

DealDash

Spring is here and it’s almost time for April vacation! What will you and your family do with your week off of school?

Ah, spring. The time of sun, rain, and allergies. However, with all of these things comes another great positive – April vacation! My kids love April vacation, and I bet your kids and grandkids do, too. What will you do with your week off of school? Let DealDash help you figure it out. Spring has so much potential for the activities you can do with your family outside, enjoying the beautiful warmth after three long months of cold. How do we best enjoy this wonderful time of year? We just need a little imagination and some spare time. But hey, that’s what spring break is for, right?

Pick Up a Frisbee

Some of the most enjoyable Springtime moments come from time outdoors with your family. April vacation is the perfect time to learn a new skill – why not how to throw a frisbee? Your kids will love tossing around a frisbee with you. Not only is it fun it’s also healthy for your body and your coordination.

Baseball or Softball

If your kids are a bit older, then April vacation is the perfect time to play some baseball or softball with them. You don’t need a field and full teams of nine people each for a friendly game. See if the neighbor kids want to join in, and get pitching!

Keep the Electronic Devices Off

Try to turn off the television, video games, and tablets for all of April vacation. This is the perfect time for getting outside, getting some sun, and burning off that energy from the long winter. It’s known that an object in motion tends to stay in motion – so let’s get that motion started and keep those devices off. Otherwise, your kids are just going to waste away the beautiful days in front of the TV.

If Your Kids Are Less Athletic

If your kids aren’t very athletic, no problem. We all have our own lifestyles and preferences. April vacation is a wonderful time to get your preparations for the garden started. My 6-year-old daughter isn’t much for sports, but she loves to be outside and helping with the garden.

Another fun thing to do to pass the time is hunting neat rocks in the creek or park and painting them. There is actually an article here on DealDashReviewed.com that explains how to do that. Just click here and read all about it.

Finally, another fun thing to do with your time would be building and painting a birdhouse with your kids. We did this last year and it was so much fun. If you’re handy you can build your own, but we got ours as a kit that simply needed to be assembled and painted.

Thanks for Reading

April vacation can be a lot of fun. I hope this article has given you some ideas on how to keep your kids busy.  These activities are easy and very fun for your kids to do. Keep the chorus of “I’m booorrrd!!!” to a minimum this April by using the tips in this article.

DealDash Kids: Fun Crafts to do on Spring Break

DealDash

When you have young kids going on a Spring Break vacation isn’t in the cards. Here are some fun crafts from DealDash to do on school break.

When you have kids, you know the importance of keeping them occupied, especially during a school break. Kids need to do things to exercise their mind and creativity. There are so many activities kids can do besides going online and playing video games. Arts and crafts are one of the best things to do with your kids. There are so many crafts to choose from so I have narrowed down the best ones that kids will enjoy on their school break. Read on for some great craft ideas from DealDash.

Spin Tie Dye Art

Tie-dye activities are always a fun activity to do, and now that the weather is getting warmer you can do this one outside if you have a deck or patio.  The best way to do a tie-dye activity is to use your salad spinner as a spin art machine. Your kids can tie-dye many different things by using a salad spinner. It is important to use washable paint so you will not have any permanent marks on the spinner and no splatter. Kids will love this one because they can get outside and get a little messy.

Create a Fairy Garden

If you want to put your child’s imagination to good use, you should create a fairy garden. All you have to do is sprinkle some glitter over your garden and add different things such as colorful stones and rocks. Your kids will enjoy this activity because they will think the glitter is pixie dust.

If the weather where you are isn’t so nice yet, no problem. You can stay inside and help the kids paint stones for the fairy garden. There are kits to do this at the craft store, or you can easily use (washed) stones from outside and acrylic paint. If you would like your designs to last all through the year, be sure to spray a clear coat of paint on after the rocks are decorated to keep the rain off.

Slime

Slime is one of the most exciting crafts to do with your kids. All you need is glue, water, food coloring, and Borax solution. You can create different types of slime by using food coloring. Adding glitter and other things to your slime can also make it a lot of fun. Your kids will have a good time making slime and will enjoy playing with it. You can also add larger elements such as beads or foam balls to make textured slime. This activity is surprisingly not very messy.

Thanks for Reading

Crafting with your kids can be a lot of fun. I hope these three crafts have given you some ideas.  These crafts are easy to make, and it very fun for your kids. Arta and crafts are a great after-school activity to do once the homework is done or taking a break from electronics, not just on vacation breaks.  Your kids will activate their creativity and will enjoy spending time with you. Trust me, when they are older they will fondly remember the times spent crafting with you and not watching a screen.

I have to admit, I am a bit partial to Wilmington, North Carolina, it’s where I grew up.

Alaska

Alaska is a beautiful place to go to. Going on an Alaskan Cruise is one of the best options for a vacation idea. You can enjoy a nice dinner while watching the waterfalls sail by, and see the whales that pop up to say hi. It may cost a pretty penny to go on an Alaskan Cruise, but the experience is priceless. I personally know of a group of seniors, age 60-80 who went on an Alaskan cruise last year and had a wonderful time. They are planning their second one now.

The Carribean

The Caribbean is a great place to go to when you want to relax. The peaceful scenery and the mesmerizing blue ocean attracts many people of all ages.  It is the perfect vacation for seniors because you can enjoy a peaceful cruise to the Caribbean, and then enjoy your time on land. You should book your flight around September or May to avoid a huge crowd. If you hate snow and ice, the Carribean is the perfect place for you to take a trip.

DealDash’s Fun Ideas for the Weekend

DealDash

Hello, weekend! It’s Saturday morning, do you have anything fun planned? If not, read on for some tips and ideas from DealDash.

What’s your favorite thing to do on weekends? Typically my family does something with the kids in the afternoon, then we go out to dinner at night. It’s fun for them, and it’s fun for me because I don’t have to cook and clean up two days per week! There are still a few weekends left before my kids go back to school, so we are going to pack in some fun activities. If you need some suggestions to get out of the house, here are some suggestions from DealDash.

Nature Walks

My family loves to be outside, but since the baby and I have very pale skin we are quite sensitive to the sun. We can get our “outdoors fix” by going on nature walks. The trees provide a nice cover from the sun, the kids get to look at cute furry animals, and we all get some exercise. Nature walks are one of those wonderful times that the kids can learn things without even realize that they are learning! This isn’t so important for my daughter who loves to learn, but my son is very “anti-school”, so it’s great for him to learn without realizing he’s doing it!

The Beach (with a Tent)

My husband and older kids love the beach. Me, not so much because of the aforementioned sun aversion. However, since we love doing things as a family, occasionally we will go to the beach. There is a lovely island beach that’s just a ferry ride away, and as luck would have it, they rent sun cabanas! So if you are sensitive to the sun like me, or have small kids that you don’t want in the harsh rays, don’t despair! You can purchase your own mini sun cabana online and bring it with you, or you can rent one. Since I have discovered the sun cabana, the summer has gotten a lot more fun.

Street Festivals

Depending on where you live, you might be able to catch a street festival going on this weekend. Where I live, in Boston, there are many small towns around me, and I am typically able to find a street festival to attend every weekend. There are music festivals, craft festivals, ethnic food festivals, kid’s festivals, and so many more! My personal favorite is the craft festival, but my husband loves the ethnic food festivals. There’s something for everyone when you go to a street festival!

DealDash Gets Your Kids School Schedule on Track

DealDash

School will be back in session in a few weeks. Get your kid’s schedule back on track with help from DealDash.

If your kids are anything like mine, they have been staying up later at night and sleeping later in the morning this summer. That’s perfectly fine and normal, but with school starting again in a few weeks it’s time to think about getting their sleeping and waking schedule back on track. Read on for more information, from DealDash.

Start Gradually

The reason that I am writing about this subject now when there are a few weeks of summer vacation still left, is because it’s best to adjust their schedule gradually. The more gradually you adjust their schedule, the less cranky they will be in the morning. Personally, I plan on adjusting their schedule 15 minutes at a time. My kids are off of their schedule by about an hour, so each week before school starts I plan on moving their bedtime and waking time up by 15 minutes. They will hardly notice the difference and will make the transition go much more smoothly. If your kids are off their schedule by hours, then you might have to do it by 30-minute increments instead.

How Much Sleep Do They Actually Need?

Depending on the ages of your child they will need different amounts of sleep. For example, my elementary school-aged children need a lot more sleep than my college-bound niece. According to the experts, young kids in elementary school should be getting 9-11 hours of sleep nightly, while teenagers ages 13-17 need about 8-10 hours. Younger adults aged 18-22 are recommended to receive about 7-9 hours. Of course, these are just guidelines. I have a 5-year-old who hasn’t taken a nap since she was 2, stays up late then wakes up earlier than the rest of the household.

DealDash Sleep Tips

Do your kids find it hard to go to sleep earlier at night? They might have a few habits in the daytime that are contributing to their restlessness at night. One of the biggest causes of restlessness at night is having too much screen time close to bedtime. Electronic devices such as phones, iPads, and laptops emit a light that “wakes up” your brain. If your child is using these devices too close to bedtime and is having trouble falling asleep, then I recommend shutting them off at least an hour before bed.

Another culprit that might be affecting your child’s sleep is caffeine. Older teens might be drinking too much coffee, but even younger kids might be getting too much caffeine through soda or food that they are eating. Try to observe what your kids are eating between lunch time and bedtime to see if there is anything with caffeine such as chocolate. When in doubt, have your kids drink extra water! It won’t hurt, and it will probably help!

DealDash First Aid Kit Essentials

DealDash

If your first aid kit consists of just a handful of band-aids, then this article is for you. Read on for more information from DealDash.

If you’ve never bought or made yourself a proper first aid kit, then now is the time. Since it’s summertime and there is beautiful weather, people are spending more time outside. This, I find, leads to many more cuts, scrapes, bug bites, and rashes from plants than in the winter time. Personally, I can get through the whole winter with nothing more than a paper cut and a headache, but when summer comes I have little scratches and bug bites all over my legs and arms! Making a first aid kit is easy. Keep reading for some directions from DealDash.

The First Aid Kit Container

There are many different ways to make up a first aid kit. Some people like to put the kit in a box that specifically says “First Aid”, other people like to put the items in a basket for easy access, and other people like to put the items in a bag so they are easier to take on-the-go. Depending on if your family spends a lot of time either at home or on-the-go will determine what kind of container that you will use to make your kit.

Bandages and Wound Covering

Surprisingly, you will need many more bandages in your first aid kit than just band-aids. Band-aids are great for tiny cuts or minor scrapes, but when your cut is longer than 1/2 an inch or so, then you’ll want to go with a bandage with more coverage. Here is a list of the bandage items that you will need for your first aid kit.

  • Assorted adhesive bandages
  • Butterfly bandages / adhesive wound-closure strips
  • Gauze pads (various sizes)
  • Nonstick sterile pads
  • Medical adhesive tape
  • Hemostatic (blood-stopping) gauze
  • Liquid bandage

Keep It Sterile

You need to sterilize your wounds, especially if you are already outside and have dirty hands and a dirty wound area. Here is what you should have in your first aid kit for cleaning and sterilization.

  • Antiseptic wipes (BZK-based wipes preferred; alcohol-based OK)
  • Antibacterial ointment (e.g., bacitracin)
  • First-aid cleansing pads with topical anesthetic
  • Hand sanitizer (BKZ- or alcohol-based)

Medications

These medications and treatments are a good idea to keep in your first aid kit. Be sure to check the expiration dates on them every year. Try to pick an easy date to remember to check them every year such as during the first week of the year, or at the beginning or end of summer.

  • Ibuprofen / other pain-relief medication
  • Insect sting relief treatment (anti-itch)
  • Antihistamine to treat allergic reactions
  • Aspirin (primarily for response to a heart attack)
  • Antacid tablets
  • Throat lozenges
  • Lubricating eye drops
  • Poison ivy and/or poison oak treatment
  • Prescription medications (e.g., antibiotics, if needed)
  • Injectable epinephrine to treat allergic reactions (if needed)

DealDash Entertains Kids in Summer

DealDash

Summer vacation has been here for a week, and my kids are already bored. Here are some ideas from DealDash to entertain the kids for the summer.

I have three kids, two of them old enough to be bored with summer vacation already. My kid’s summer camp is only 3 hours long, what can we do to fill the rest of the day? Here are some tips and ideas from DealDash to keep kids occupied during the summer.

Put Them to Work

When you say “put them to work” that sounds like a recipe for scowls and whining, right? Not if you give them fun work. I have a nice container garden this year with multiple types of tomatoes and tons of strawberry plants – along with some fruit trees that I planted this year. The kids love to go out and water the trees and the garden for me. I fill up a big bucket and let them water the plants however they want – the watering can, little scoops, or even water guns! If you go this route, be sure that you go behind them and re-water any plants that didn’t get enough water.

If you don’t have a garden try and think of some other “fun” jobs for your kids. Washing the car, sorting their toys, or even just digging a hole in the yard can be a lot of fun for kids. The best thing about these types of activities is they are almost totally free!

Head to the Duck Pond

Save up your bread crusts and heels of bread until you have a bag full and head down to the duck pond. Kids love to feed the ducks, and the ducks appreciate the extra snack. While you’re there you can take a little time out for a wildlife lesson, you should be able to find turtles, frogs, and tons of bugs at your local pond. Try taking pictures of the creatures and see if you can find out what type they are when you get home. If you make trips to the duck pond a regular occurrence your kids will gain a deeper appreciation of nature and look forward to your trips.

Swimming Lessons

Summer swimming lessons are not only fun but extremely important for water safety. You can find reasonably priced summer swimming lessons at your local YMCA or Boys & Girls Club. They have different levels of lessons by age and ability. Your kids will enjoy swimming lessons, and you will be able to rest a little bit easier knowing that your kids have this lifesaving skill.

Have a Healthy Lawn With DealDash

DealDash

Having a healthy and beautiful lawn isn’t hard if you know how! Follow these tips and tricks from DealDash to improve your lawn.

Do you ever look at your neighbor’s lawns and wonder how they are so green and lush, and yours is so…yellow and whithered? I know that I did, our lawn last year was really in need of some help. So over the winter I did a little research, and I have implemented some simple changes that has my lawn looking better than ever this year. Here are some handy lawn tips, from DealDash.

Water Heavily, Less Often

One of the big mistakes that I was making with my lawn last year was I was giving it a quick watering every day. Experts say that to have your lawn looking it’s best it’s a better practice to water your lawn less often – but much more heavily than you might think. This year, instead of giving a light watering every day, I am giving it an absolute soaking 2-3 times per week depending on how hot and sunny the weather is that week. Aim for about 2 inches of water all over the lawn, which is the equivalent of a very heavy rainstorm.

Don’t Water in the Hottest Part of the Day

This might sound like common sense, but as a first-time homeowner, I didn’t realize that you were not supposed to water the lawn during the middle of the day. It’s a much better to water in the evening after the sun is on its way down. If you water in the morning or during the middle of the day, the water is just going to evaporate and not reach down to the roots. Of course, if the morning or the middle of the day are the only times that you’re able to water, then water then, just keep in mind that you should try to water extra deeply.

Mulch Those Leaves

This tip is too late for this summer, but thinking ahead to the fall, don’t rake your leaves! Instead, run them over with the mower and leave them there. The leaves will provide excellent mulch for your lawn, and lets you do less work. Now that’s what I call win-win! Speaking of wins, after you’re done taking care of your lawn, it’s time to head on over to DealDash and snag a few auction wins!

You can make them as a singular flavor, add extra fruit chunks, make different flavored layers – anything you like! Let your creativity be your guide to making these delicious ice pops.

DealDash Asks: Are You Maximizing Your Workout?

DealDash workout

Most people try to work out and stay healthy. However, you might not be getting as much out of your workout as you should. Here are some tips and ideas from DealDash.

If you’re starting from couch potato you can’t expect to get to marathoner overnight. Even so, regularly working out can be very beneficial for both your physical and mental health.  For your body, it can help you lose weight, get stronger, reduce health problems, and boost energy. Mentally, it can significantly reduce stress. Unfortunately, most people don’t know how to make the most out of their workout, especially if they are a beginner. Let DealDash help.

Make a Schedule (And Stick to it)

You don’t (and shouldn’t) work out every single day, but you should definitely make a schedule. If you want to make the most out of your workouts you’ll want to plan them out. For instance, you might want to do your upper body on Mondays and Fridays, and your lower body on Wednesdays and Sundays. It doesn’t really matter how you split it up, just be sure to take a couple of days off per week. If you want to do some other type of light exercise that day such as walking or swimming, that’s great as well.

Don’t just jump right into your workout. Take some time at the beginning of your workout for warming up. Also, include some time at the end of your workout for cooling down. Your warm-up and cool-down are important so that you don’t accidentally injure the muscles in your body.

Now, Change Up That Schedule!

Yes, I know that I just advised above to make a workout schedule. The schedule is important, and it’s good for your body to stick to it. However, once your body has become accustomed to the schedule, it’s time to change it up. This doesn’t mean that your workout has to be longer or more strenuous – just different.

For example, if you normally jog on the treadmill for an hour on Mondays, then change that to using the rowing machine instead. Or if you normally lift weights on Thursdays, then take a boxing class instead. Changing your schedule every month or so can be very beneficial for your workout goals.

Keep a Workout Journal

A big reason that people don’t progress in their fitness is because they don’t keep track of it. If you get a notebook and jot down your workouts every time, their duration, how you feel, and your goals for the future, you’ll be ahead of the game. Your workout journal doesn’t have to be anything fancy – you can even just get a calendar with big squares to write in, and do it on there. It’s important that you can look back at your progress and see how far you’ve come – and look to the future and see where you want to go.

Thanks for Reading

I hope that you found this new DealDash article on workouts helpful. Reading the DealDash Reviews and our sister blog DealDash Tips daily is always a good idea, since you can learn interesting things about DealDash and many other things.

If you are looking for a fun trip to take with the kids (or even by yourself!) Mystic, CT is a great choice. There are lots of interesting attractions for young and old alike.

You might be familiar with Mystic, CT from the classic 1988 movie Mystic Pizza starring Julia Roberts. While Mystic does have excellent pizza, they also have a host of other fun and engaging activities for all ages.

Displaying 20160722_170222.jpg

Mystic Aquarium – Let’s start out with my favorite, the Mystic Aquarium! The Mystic Aquarium is home to the North East’s only Beluga Whales. The photo above is my daughter interacting with a Beluga on our trip to the aquarium this summer. The Mystic Aquarium also has penguins, sting rays, a 4-D theater, and an extremely interactive bird exhibit that allows you to enter the bird enclosure to feed and hold the birds, if you are able to catch them. The Mystic Aquarium gets an A+ in my book for fun and entertainment.

Image result for old mystic village

Olde Mistick Village – The Olde Mistick Village isn’t worth a trip on its own, in my opinion, but it shares a parking lot with the Mystic Aquarium, so it’s definitely worth a look if you are visiting the aquarium, anyway. The Olde Mistick Village is a quaint little collection of shops located in a small walking area with some green areas, a very small duck pond, and a few restaurants. If you’re looking for a unique gift to bring back to someone from your trip to Mystic, you might be able to find it here.

Image result for mystic-seaport Mystic Seaport – Mystic Seaport is an excellent large indoor/outdoor maritime museum. Mystic Seaport was founded in 1929, and is the resting place of the Charles W. Morgan, the last wooden whaleship in the world. Expect to spend at least a half day, or even a full day at Mystic Seaport. Mystic Seaport has a ton of activities, especially in the summer season, including a re-created 19th-century seafaring village, a working preservation shipyard, gardens,  a planetarium, and a children’s museum. You can also take a boat tour and explore the historic Mystic River from May through October. Mystic Seaport didn’t sound very fun and exciting to me when I was reading about it online, but when we visited in person it was actually very fun. The children’s museum was probably my kid’s favorite part, and I enjoyed the planetarium very much.

I hope that this article has gotten you excited to travel and explore. If you can’t make it out to Mystic, CT, why not take a short trip to somewhere closer to you? If you’re going on a trip, I suggest stocking up on gift cards from DealDash. Gift cards are great to take when you are travelling, and if you bid on gift cards on DealDash you can earn clock time for being the highest bidder. If you don’t win you can just BIN (Buy It Now) for face value, get free shipping, and get all of your bids back to use another day. Here is a link to get gift cards from DealDash. Good luck and happy bidding everyone!

5 End of Summer Ideas from DealDash

There is just a little bit of summer left before the kids go back to school, here are 5 things that you should do before summer is over.

It’s been a great summer, but all great things must come to an end…At least until next summer, anyway! Here are 5 things that you should definitely do before summer has officially come to an end.

  1. Go to the beach!! Have you been to the beach yet this year? If you haven’t, it’s definitely time to go. I personally haven’t been this summer, I stayed at home with my baby when the rest of the family went, so this is something that I am going to have to correct over the next few weekends. It’s getting slightly less hot here in New England, so I think it’s about time that the baby gets his first trip to the beach!
  2. Have a picnic. Picnics are always a great time. I personally like to go to a place called Salem Willows, they have a little boardwalk area, a lot of picnicking space, benches, trees, and even a view of the water. It’s a wonderful place to bring a picnic lunch, walk around, and then to go the boardwalk and get ice cream.
  3. Shop for summer clothing for next year. They are starting to put the fall and winter clothing out in the stores now, so it’s a great time to shop the clearance racks for summer clothing that you and your family can wear next year. I was just at Target tonight, and I was able to get many, many t-shirts, shorts, sandals, and dresses for my kids for insane deals, from $1-4 dollars! It was amazing. Now is the time to do your shopping, though, if you wait too much longer all of the best deals will be gone.
  4. Have your friends over for a BBQ. A BBQ is a fun and relatively inexpensive way to have a party with your friends. All you need is some frozen hamburger patties, hot dogs, buns, chips, and some beer & soda and you are all set! You can minimize the mess by using paper plates, plastic utensils, and solo cups. It’s not the most eco-friendly way to party, but all of those items are recyclable, anyway.
  5.  Have a backyard camp out with your kids.  I am personally not one to “rough it” in the outdoors too much, but camping in your backyard is a great compromise with your kids if they want to go camping. You can pitch your tent on your deck or in your backyard, get out the flashlights and tell spooky stories, enjoy the sights and sounds of the night, look at the stars…And still be able to go inside and use the bathroom, win-win!

I hope that this list has you thinking of some ways to stretch out the fun just a little bit more this summer. Now that you have a few ideas, you might need to buy some supplies. DealDash has Target gift cards, BBQ grills, and camping supplies. It’s always fun to play and win on DealDash, just click this link right here and you can get started. Good luck and happy bidding everyone!

Rubbermaid 5-Day 50-Quart Wheeled Cooler

DealDash Makes: A Fairy Garden

The number one rule about making a fairy garden is…There are no rules! Yes, you can feel free to make your fairy garden exactly as you would like it to look.

Fairy gardens can be as simple or intricate as you would like them to look. As I said, there are no rules, so let your creative side shine. Here are some simple directions that you can use to get started in making your fairy garden. Feel free to substitute any of the materials or techniques that I mention and enjoy your own personalized fairy garden.

  1. The Vessel – Fairy gardens can be created in pretty much any sort of container including a regular flower-pot, a large bowl, a sand bucket, or even an aquarium! Just make sure that there are drainage holes. Remember the larger the surface area the more room you will have to create your fairy garden landscape.
  2. Real Estate – Where you place your fairy garden totally depends on the plants that you plan on including inside. You can put your fairy garden inside or out, but be mindful that it should be sheltered from the worst weather, yet still be able to have access to the sunlight to grow.
  3. Creating your world – You can put a mishmash of tiny objects in your fairy garden if you like, but most people choose to focus on a theme such as a country garden, a tea party, an enchanted forest, or even a spooky forest!
  4. Let’s get planting – Visit your local nursery/gardening center to choose your new plants. Please be mindful of what grows well in your area and climate. It’s very important to choose plants which have  the same growing requirements. This will also help you choose where you place your fairy garden at home. Choose a few different plants that you love. If you have a certain idea of how you would like your fairy garden to end up looking in the end, then go ahead and make a rough sketch before you go to the gardening center, and ask a nursery associate to help make your vision become a reality.
  5. After you have purchased your plants and accessories then plant your new little world according to the sketch that you made previously. If you don’t like how the fairy garden looks then move around your little fairy accessories, get different ones, or even make your own!
  6. Place your new fairy garden in its new home and delight in its adorableness.

Making a fairy garden can be a wonderful experience to share with your children. Let them have a little bit of input on the fairy garden such as what color plants they would like and what sorts of accessories they would like to put in the garden. The more involved they are in the process or making the fairy garden they are, the more likely they are to remember to water it! Check out DealDash for all of the gardening supplies that you will need at this link right here. Good luck and happy bidding everyone!

DealDash Summer Safety: Bugs

Unfortunately bugs and summer go hand in hand, let’s look at the kinds of bugs that you might encounter and what to do if you get bitten.

There are many many types of bugs, and most of them are completely harmless. Sometimes you run into a bug that bites or stings, though. Here is a quick and handy guide to what you should do in case you get into a confrontation with a bug and end up with a little injury.

Bees – There are many many types of bees out there such as Bumble, Honey, Carpenter, and Africanized. These bees are peaceful for the most part with the exception of the Africanized bee. Bees will be especially active during the second half of summer and early fall when the colonies forage for food to sustain them during the winter months. Try your best to just avoid the bees and they will most likely leave you alone. If you do happen to get stung you will want to remove the stinger as soon as you can. It just takes a moment for all of the venom to enter your skin. Next you should scrape the area with the edge of a credit card or business card to remove it. If you use tweezers or your fingernails to remove the stinger you might squeeze it and inject more venom. After the stinger is out wash the area with soap and then put an ice pack on the area. You can take an OTC pain reliever if you need it, and you should be all healed up within a few days. If you are showing any signs of an allergic reaction such as wheezing, trouble breathing, or a racing heartbeat be sure to visit the urgent care clinic or even the emergency room right away.

Spiders – Almost all spiders have a fairly harmless bite. There may be a bit of pain, itchiness, and swelling but nothing to be too concerned about. You can wash it with soap, take a little OTC pain reliever, rub it with an antihistamine cream and be on your way. However, if you have the bad luck of being bitten by a Black Widow or Brown Recluse you are in for a bad time. If you suspect that you have been bitten by a Black Widow or Brown Recluse you need to get medical help immediately. These spider bites are not a thing that you want to ignore.

DealDash Wants You to Have Budget Fun

The summer is well underway but there is still time to have fun before school starts again and you and your kids are locked into a schedule. Here are a few free or low-cost ways to have fun.

Obviously, my favorite way to have fun is to play on DealDash, my best way to entertain myself no matter what the season. However, the kids prefer to get outside in the warmth and the sunshine, so I guess I will just have to use my DealDash app on my phone to bid on the go!

One of my kid’s favorite ways to have fun and stay cool this summer is going to the sprinkler park. If you have kids that are in the pre-school to elementary school age you should check and see if there is a sprinkler park near you. If you just Google “Sprinkler park near me” it will show you all of the locations that are within 15 miles or so. There are 9 of them within 12 miles of me, so I bet there are some near you, too!

Speaking of elementary school kids, if you check your local town’s website or your local library website you will be able to find all of the low-cost summer activities that your town offers this summer. There are things for all ages, but the majority of them are for kids ages 6-12. For example, I signed my son up for “drop-in” camp that’s hosted by the town for $145 for the entire summer! It’s Monday through Friday for 3 hours per day. That’s an amazing deal, less than a dollar per hour if I drop him off every day for the entire 3 hours. Not only is it cheap, he has an awesome time! There are other cheap activities that are offered by the town such as Lego days, dance classes, and field trips to roller skating rinks and trampoline parks. Check out your town’s website and see what they have to offer!

Another really fun thing that happens in the summer is that most towns have – festivals! Around here there are strawberry festivals, school festivals, blueberry festivals, Italian festivals, Greek festivals and more. They are all free to attend, and have food, games, prizes, and entertainment. All of the extras you have to pay for, of course, but they are usually minimally priced. Just Google “festival near me” and Google will tell you what’s happening near you!

If you’re in need of any other summer fun activities be sure to check out DealDash’s Hobbies, Toys, Outdoors, and Games category. There are lots of ways to have fun, and DealDash has some great examples! Go out and enjoy that weather, remember to bring your DealDash app with you. Good luck and happy bidding!

DealDash Rules Summer

How is your summer going so far? We’re done with the 4th of July, the next big holiday is Labor Day on Monday, September 5th. Let’s make the most of the summer before it’s over!

Have you and your family made any fun day trips yet this summer? Depending on where you live there are most likely many fun places that you can go to spend the day, feel like you had a little vacation, but not spend money on plane tickets or hotels. There are lots of fun places that you can visit that don’t have to break the budget. If you have small kids all the way up to teenagers amusement parks like 6 Flags, King’s Dominion, Busch Gardens, or even smaller local theme parks are always a hit.

If you and you family are more outdoorsy than thrill-seekers, then maybe you could take a trip to a local beach, lake, or pond and have a picnic, then break out the kites for some high-flying family fun or the kayaks for some fun in the water. If time by the water isn’t your thing, how about a hike on some local trails or a family bike ride on your town’s bike path, or even around your neighborhood?

Another fun family activity that is fun and can save you money as well is visiting your local farmer’s markets. I live in New England where the towns are so close together I could easily pass through 3 different towns in 15 minutes, which is a great thing if we are talking about farmer’s markets. Each of the 3 different towns has their own separate farmer’s markets that are held on different days. Some of the farmer’s markets are better than others, offering face painting and balloons for the kids, but all of them have great deals on freshly grown produce, honey, and other artisan products.

If you’re going to go out and have some fun this summer I suggest that you visit DealDash first. DealDash has lots of fun things for the summer in their Hobbies, Toys, Outdoors, and Games category. If you click on this link right here it will take you to DealDash and you can browse all of the exciting deals that are going on today and in the future. Good luck and happy bidding everyone!

DealDash Talks about Sun Safety

Skin cancer might not be a fun subject to talk about, but since we are in the thick of summer it’s an important thing to think about.

By this time everyone know that going outside in the hot summer sun without any kind of SPF sunscreen or protective clothing such as a hat or sunglasses is not a good idea. Sometimes we need a little reminder, though, so here is yours:

Be sure to wear your sunscreen this summer.

Sometimes even if you are extremely diligent in protecting yourself against the sun’s harmful rays they can sneak past you anyway. Skin cancer is no joke, and early detection is important and can be life-saving. Early detection of skin cancer isn’t difficult if you are diligent in examining your body for the telltale signs of skin cancer beginning to form. Luckily, if you detect skin cancer early you can prevent it from spreading and will be able to get it removed, usually with minimal lasting problems. Since early detection is so crucial to diagnosing skin cancer, you should make checking your body for moles and other suspicious spots a habit.

The safest way to check yourself for skin cancer is to examine yourself on a monthly basis in the summer months and on a bi-monthly basis in the winter months. You should examine yourself monthly year-round if you live in a hot sunny climate where you are outdoors frequently all year-long.

When performing your skin examination choose a specific time each month to do your exams – you can choose a specific day, but I personally find that it fits better with my schedule to pick a weekend (the first weekend of every month) and check everyone for skin abnormalities. When doing your examination you should evaluate each area of your skin, leaving no part unseen. It is very helpful to have a skin examination sheet that you can print off and use each month. I am including one below that is free from the American Academy of Dermatology. There are others online for free if you would like a different style.

I hope that you found this article helpful in reminding you to be aware of the dangers of skin cancer. DealDash is serious about the safety of its DealDash customers, and is happy to provide articles like this to remind us how to stay healthy. DealDash offers sun protection in the form of tents, sun umbrellas, beach cabanas, and more. Just check DealDash’s Hobbies, Toys, Outdoors, and Games category at this link right here and see all of the great items up for auction. Good luck and happy bidding everyone!

DealDash Cooks: Favorite Cold Drinks

As much as I love hot tea and coffee in the winter the summer has an amazing drink selection as well. Here are a few recipes for delicious drinks your family will love.

Vietnamese Sparkling Limeade – This is definitely my top pick for drink of the summer season. It’s delicious, refreshing, and not very high in calories.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar (I like the “Sugar in the Raw” type)
  • 1/2 cup very hot water
  • 1 handful of fresh mint taken off the stems
  • 8 limes, halved for easy juicing
  • Ice
  • Sparkling water (cold)

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the sugar and the hot water until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Place a few mint leaves at the bottom of a pitcher and crush with a wooden spoon.
  3. Juice the limes into the pitcher, add the sugar water.
  4. Fill 4 glasses with ice. Pour in the limeade and top with sparkling water.

Alternately, if you’re running short on time, you can add crushed mint, the juice of 1 lime, ice, and fill the rest of the glass with Sprite. It’s not quite as tasty, but it’s quick and easy.

Watermelon Lime Slush –  I love slush drinks. This next drink is one of my favorites for the hottest days.  You can follow the recipe for kid-friendly slush, or add some vodka, rum, or tequila to appeal to the older but young at heart.

Ingredients

  • 5 cups cubed seedless watermelon
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • Juice of 1 lime

Directions

  1. Combine watermelon, sugar, lime juice and 1 cup ice in blender until smooth.
  2. Serve immediately.

Peach Iced Tea – I have shared my recipe for Southern Sweet Tea before, but here is a delicious and super easy peach iced tea that will be a hit at your summer BBQ!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 6 peaches, halved and pitted
  • 4 black tea bags
  • 1 vanilla bean, split lengthwise and seeds scraped
  • Water

Directions

  1. Bring 3 cups water and the sugar to a boil in a pot.
  2. Add the peaches and vanilla bean (including the seeds). Simmer over medium heat for about 30 minutes.
  3. Discard the vanilla bean. Pour the peaches and syrup into a blender and puree until smooth.
  4. Strain the peach puree through a sieve/fine colander into a pitcher.
  5. Bring 4 cups  water to a boil in a small saucepan. Remove from heat, add the tea and steep for 10 minutes.
  6. Add tea to the pitcher with the peach puree. Stir to combine.
  7. Refrigerate until cold.
  8. The pulp from the fruit may have separated from the tea during chilling, so be sure to stir it before serving.
  9. Pour over ice cubes

Summer Exercising with DealDash

The summer is a great time to start your new exercise program. The weather is beautiful, let’s go outside with DealDash!

If you live in most parts of the US then you are used to cold, windy, snowy winters. Now that it’s beginning to feel like summer it’s a great time to get in some exercise while the weather is nice. Here are some ideas to get you started:

Swimming – Most people love to swim, and it’s a very good low-impact workout. Even if you are elderly or have trouble walking most people are still able to swim, float, or do water aerobics in the water without any extra pain. If you are in good shape anyway then a nice swim can be your reward after a vigorous work out. Swimming is also a wonderful way to get your whole family involved in exercise. If you have any smaller kids that aren’t able to swim yet, then that’s a bonus for your workout, since you will have to carry, push, and pull them around the pool.

Swim N' Play 15ft x 36in Above Ground Pool with Port Hole

Jogging/Running – Jogging and running are excellent ways to burn calories and get toned. If you love to jog or run but have been snowed in all winter then now is the time to tie up those sneakers and get outside! Please remember, though, it’s best to run in either the early morning or evening when it’s cooler outside. Sun stroke is no joke! Be sure to drink lots of water to stay hydrated.

Walking – If you’re not up to jogging or running how about taking a nice long walk instead? Walking is awesome for your cardiovascular health, it’s low-impact, you get to take in the sights and sounds of nature, and it can be a lot of fun if you have someone to go with you. If you have a partner to walk with it makes the time go by much quicker and you will be able to walk much further than you would on your own. Alternately, if you can’t find a human walking companion, how about adopting, fostering, or borrowing a dog to walk with?

I hope that this article has inspired you to get out and get moving in this wonderful summer weather. If you need any sports equipment or exercise equipment DealDash has it all! Just click on this link here and it will take you to the Hobbies, Toys, Outdoors, and Games category on DealDash.

DealDash Cooks: Strawberry Shortcake

Strawberry Shortcake is my husband’s favorite dessert. Lucky for me strawberries are in season and are on sale everywhere.

Strawberry shortcake is not only delicious but also one of the lighter and marginally healthier desserts that you can have. There are a few different ways that you can make strawberry shortcake. The easiest way, of course, is to get the premade cake cups, fill with fresh strawberries, and put whipped cream on top. However, I feel this is the least delicious way to go, that making your own cake ensures that your strawberry shortcake comes out as delicious as possible.

Here is a very simple and easy recipe for strawberry shortcake that will guarantee your family wants seconds on dessert!

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 pounds strawberries, stemmed and quartered
  • 5 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • Whipped Cream (recipe down below)

Directions:

  • Mix your strawberries with 3 tablespoons sugar and refrigerate while juices develop, at least 30 minutes
  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F
  • Sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, the remaining 2 tablespoons sugar, and salt in a medium-sized bowl
  • Add the heavy cream and mix until just combined
  • Place mixture in an ungreased 8-inch square pan and bake until golden, 18 to 20 minutes
  • Remove shortcake from pan and place on a rack to cool slightly. Cut into 6 pieces and split each piece in half horizontally
  • Spoon some of the strawberries with their juice onto each shortcake bottom. Top with a generous dollop of whipped cream and then place the shortcake on top
  • Spoon more strawberries over the top and serve

See, wasn’t that easy? If you want to relax now go ahead and use whipped cream from a can However, if you want to go the extra mile here is the recipe for home-made whipped cream:

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream, chilled
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon freshly grated lemon zest

Directions:

  • Using a mixer, beat the heavy cream, sugar, vanilla, and lemon zest until soft peaks form, about 1 1/2 to 2 minutes.

That’s it! Simple, right? Now that you have made your dessert and have some spare time you can go check out DealDash. They have everything that you need for your kitchen and more! I can tell you from personal experience, making home-made whipped cream is 100% easier with a KitchenAid stand mixer instead of my old-fashioned hand mixer. If you would like to check out the Kitchenaid mixers or anything else for the kitchen just click this link here. Good luck and happy bidding everyone!

DealDash Helps: Budget Road Trip

Summer is a perfect time to go on vacation, but what if you don’t have the money? Budget road trips can be just as fun.

Normally my family goes on a vacation every year. We’ve been to Bermuda, San Diego, Tampa, and Montreal to name a few. However this year we have a new baby so we decided to stay a little closer to home. While planning our summer vacation this year I noticed how much money we were going to be saving by not going too far outside of New England. As a challenge to myself I decided to see exactly how frugal I could be in my vacation planning and still show the kids a great time. On to the savings!

First of all, forget flying. We were originally thinking about going to Salt Lake City, but plane tickets alone for my family of 5 was going to be in the range of $4,000 for the times we wanted to go, so we decided that this year was going to be a road trip only kind of trip. When you are thinking about road-tripping on a budget, the first thing that you want to think about is what is the maximum distance that you are willing to travel, or even more budget-friendly, what is the maximum distance that you can travel in one day so you can avoid staying in multiple different hotels.

The maximum distance that we decided on was 500 miles, which is a full 8-ish hours of travel. So then we looked to see where we could go in that mileage range and came up with New York, Washington DC, Maryland, Philadelphia, and Providence.  This is really easy to look up using Google Maps.

How will we get a discount on our gas? By using DealDash, of course! You can get a Shell gas card from DealDash by bidding, and if you don’t win you can always BIN (But It Now), get all of your bids back, keep the clock time that you earned by being the highest bidder, AND get free shipping on your gift card. Shell also has a loyalty card that you can get for free, and it will give you .03 off per gallon every time that you use it. It’s not much, but it adds up! If you would like to bid on a Shell gift card you can click this link right here and it will take you to the Shell cards on DealDash.

Now that the gas is taken care of, how about hotels? DealDash offers a variety of hotel gift cards that you can bid on. The hotel gift cards are the same deal as the gas gift cards – if you don’t win you can always BIN (But It Now), get all of your bids back, keep the clock time that you earned by being the highest bidder, AND get free shipping on your gift card. You can check out all of the hotel gift cards that DealDash has at this link right here.

I hope that this article has inspired you to think about going on a budget road trip this year with the help of DealDash. Good luck and happy bidding everyone!

DealDash Makes: DIY Summer Fun

Since you’re a fan of DealDash, you probably like to save money. Here are some fun things you can make for your kids or grandkids to have some fun this summer.

Playdough – Playdough is super simple to make, and kids can have hours of fun using it. My daughter begs to go outside on the deck every day and play with her playdough. Here’s the recipe:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups warm water
  • 1 cup salt
  • 2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 Tablespoon cream of tartar (optional for improved elasticity)
  • food coloring (to your desired color)

Instructions:

Add the water, salt and food coloring first. Heat and stir while the salt dissolves, then add the flour, oil and cream of tartar and continue to stir for about 5 minutes. Turn off the stove and let sit for another 5 minutes or so. Then add your coloring. All done!

Bubbles – Bubble solution is inexpensive at your local store, but it can be even cheaper to make at home, AND you get the added benefit of the fun of making it as well.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup Liquid dish soap (Joy or Dawn brands work best. Try to find one that doesn’t say ‘Ultra’)
  • 6 Cups Distilled water (tap water is okay, but distilled water makes the best bubbles)
  • 1 Tbs Glycerin or 1/4 Cup light corn syrup
  • Clean container with lid

Directions:

  1. Add water into container, then pour dish soap into the water and slowly stir it until the soap is mixed in. Try not to let foam or bubbles form while you stir.
  2. Add glycerin or corn syrup and add it to the container. Stir the solution until it is mixed together.
  3. You can use the solution right away, but to make even better bubbles, put the lid on the container and let your super bubble solution sit overnight. All done!

Kid’s Tent – If your kids want to have a camp out in the back yard, or if they just want a private and shady place to play during the hot summer day then make them a play tent! It’s easy and your kids will be impressed.

Ingredients:

  • Hula hoop
  • Shower curtain
  • Shower curtain rings
  • String/rope
  • Branch to hang it on

Directions: Using the shower curtain rings attach the shower curtain to the hula hoop. Tie 4 lengths of string equidistant around the hula hoop. Hang on branch. All done!

4. Hang a shower curtain on a Hula-Hoop for another type of tent.

Now that you’ve saved so much money on outdoor activities for your kids, how about heading on over to DealDash and bidding on some toys that they can use inside when it’s raining out? DealDash has lots of fun things for kids, just check out the Hobbies, Toys, Outdoors, and Games category at this link here and see how much you can save! Good luck and happy bidding everyone!

Summer Safety With DealDash

Everyone loves summer, but with all of the fun comes extra opportunities for accidents. DealDash would like to remind you of some helpful safety tips.

Sunblock

No matter what your skin tone, you should always wear sunblock if you are going to be outside in the sun for an extended period of time. Along with sunblock it’s also a great idea to wear a hat as well.

Pool Safety

The number one rule of pool safety is never swim alone. Be sure to take breaks and stay hydrated while you are swimming – you might think that you won’t get dehydrated because you are literally floating in water, but you need to keep drinking water, especially if you are swimming for exercise.

If you are bringing a child to the pool with you to swim be sure that you don’t take your eyes off of them for a second. Please leave your phone in your bag and pay attention to the child, as it really only takes a moment for disaster to happen when you are around water, especially if the child isn’t a strong swimmer.

Avoid the Bugs

If you are going out in the evening hours that is prime time for mosquitos. Be sure to put on insect repellant so you don’t end up with bites. Mosquitos can carry lots of diseases such as West Nile Virus.

Fireworks Safety

Please avoid buying fireworks to use at home. Fireworks are great fun to watch, but can be very dangerous in the hands of your average person. Check out a community fireworks display this summer instead. Or you could always just stay in and play DealDash and see your fireworks when you win!

Sports

No matter what the activity, be it bike riding, skating, or using a scooter be sure that you and your children always wear a helmet. All is takes is one accident to turn into a catastrophe.

I hope that you found these safety tips useful. If you’re looking for some things to help spice up your summer, how about a new bike or bike helmet from DealDash? You can check them out at this link right here. Good luck and happy bidding everyone!

DealDash Plays: Summer BBQ Games

When you think about the phrase “playing games outside” you probably immediately thought of kids. However, there are lots of fun games that you can play outside for kids and adults alike.

If you’re going to be having a few cook outs this upcoming summer you are probably going to have both kids and adults in attendance. Here are a few games that are fun that everyone can play together. Hey, you might even be able to beat the kids at one or two of them!

Treasure Hunt

Treasure Hunt is really fun and easy to play for kids or adults, you don’t even have to know how to read! Before the party starts the host makes up a simple pictorial list of things that are easy to find outside in the yard during your BBQ, such as a leaf, a can of soda, a plastic fork, a flower, etc. The first person to find and bring back all of the items on the list is the winner.

Bocce Ball

Bocce is a classic outdoors game that your grandparents probably played at parties when they were young. It can be played on grass or on the beach. Bocce balls are fairly heavy, the average is 2 pounds, which might be a little heavy for some of your younger guests, so be sure to pair-off your teams fairly! Little kids who are too young to play will get a kick out of tossing the “pallino,” which is what little ball that is used as the target is called.

Horse Obstacle Course

Play Horse Obstacle Course and let your guests compete to have the fastest time on a backyard obstacle course. Set up a course featuring bales of hay, snake stuffed animals, and even cardboard rodeo clowns as obstacles. Require each player to ride a broomstick horse around the objects and back across the finish line to complete the race.

Croquet

Croquet is a yard game that I fondly remember playing when I was a kid at family parties. Croquet involves hitting plastic or wooden balls with a mallet through hoops that are called “wickets” that are set up by sticking them into your lawn.

I hope that these games sound like fun to you. If you are going to be hosting some cook outs this summer I suggest that you head on over to DealDash and pick up some grilling accessories, or even a new grill! You can check out all of the grilling items on DealDash by clicking this link right here. Good luck and happy bidding everyone!
