My Favorite DealDash Wins – Happy 10th Anniversary!

DealDash

If you have signed on to DealDash this week, you’ll know that this is DealDash’s 10th Anniversary week. Not only is it fun to bid, but you can also get some amazing wins!

I haven’t been a member of DealDash since the beginning, I started about 6 years ago. In those years, though, I have won 299 auctions. I have gotten large wins and small wins, and here are some of my favorites.

Neato Robot Vacuum

The robot vacuum is one of my favorite wins. Not only did I win Neato at a great price, but he also does a wonderful job cleaning my home. This vacuum moves in straight line patterns that are partly overlapped, it has a laser that examines the room in a complete 360 ° circle and also charts the room being vacuumed while it is accomplishing its job, which is really nothing short of incredible. The Neato robot is even able to go back to his home by himself when he’s running out of energy and is able to recall where he ended cleaning and continues to vacuum at the precise spot where he left off after he reenergizes himself.

Ergonomic Curved Pillow

Another DealDash win that I use literally every single night is my ergonomic curved pillow. This pillow is a semi-firm memory foam and is the best pillow that I have ever laid my heavy head upon. The pillow sits higher on either side and gradually dips lower in the center, this technology provides you with the proper head, neck and spinal alignment and support whether positioned on your back or side which means extreme comfort no matter how you sleep. I have tried down pillows, squishy memory foam pillows, and even famous “As Seen on TV” pillows, and this one is the best.

Executive Pen Set

Back in the fall, I was trying to figure out what to get my husband for Christmas. He is not into electronics or hobbies, he always says that his hobby is work. What better gift for a person who is stuck at a desk all day than a fancy executive pen set? It was the perfect gift for him, and it only cost me a handful of bids and $1.07!

As you can see, DealDash has so many different options of items up for auction, and many different categories as well. No matter if you’re shopping for something for yourself or a friend or family member, DealDash has what you need. Be sure to come by, bid on a few auctions, and wish DealDash a Happy 10th Anniversary this week!

Happy 10th Anniversary, DealDash!

Did you know that DealDash will celebrate their 10th anniversary this week?! This week’s articles will be dedicated to DealDash information and history. Read on for more information.

This is a very special week in DealDash-Land since they are celebrating 10 years of making winners out of bidders. If you are new to DealDash, then you might not be aware of how things got started and the early days of your favorite bidding site. Let’s correct that! Here are some fun facts about your favorite place to bid.

2009

The site was officially launched in 2009. The early days were quite different than what you will find now. There were no cars or fancy trips to be won in 2009.

2011

Did you know that before 2011 the BidBuddy did not exist?! That’s right, 2011 was a great year for those bidders who want to “set it and forget it” because this was the year that the BidBuddy was launched for your bidding joy. The BidBuddy made it possible for busy people who didn’t have hours to spend babysitting an auction to get big wins.

2012

One million bidders is a huge accomplishment, and that feat was accomplished in mid-2012. However, much bigger things were to come in 2013.

2013

In 2013 a true milestone was achieved – 2 million auctions! That’s more than the entire population of the country of Estonia!

2016

DealDash got a big update in 2016 with the addition of the mobile app. This app allows people to easily bid right from their phone by just touching the icon and jumping right into the fun of bidding.

2018

Last year in 2018 DealDash brought many amazing auctions to bidders, such as tropical vacations and even cars. Also, amazingly, these big prizes don’t always go for top dollar, either. In 2018 there was an auction for a weeklong vacation in Thailand was won for a mere $111. This was also the year that the best Black Friday bargain was won – a Ford Mustang!

2019

FInally, what will this year hold for DealDash? It’s up to you. What would you like to win today?

Saving money is imperative because you never know if you may need emergency cash. Here are some unique ways to save money this New Year’s, from DealDash.

Wait Before You Buy Something

Waiting before you buy something will stop you from overspending and will help you save more money this year. It is best to wait till 30 days to see if you still want to purchase that item. Giving yourself 30 days to think about whether or not it is a necessary purchase will help you make a smarter decision. You may discover that you will not want it anymore.

Do Free Activities

Most people spend a lot of money on entertainment. If you like going out with your friends and family, you can save money by doing free activities. Instead of going to the mall or spending money eating out, you can go fishing, hiking, or have a fun game night with your family. Create a list of fun things you can do for very little money.

Find a Good Influence

DealDash Holiday Travel Tips

DealDash

We’ve talked about preparing your house for holiday guests. Now we will discuss some holiday travel tips when you are the guest. Read on for some helpful hints from DealDash.

The holidays are the busiest travel time of the year. Many people have long breaks from work and school.  Christmas is around the corner, and you may be trying to plan for your holiday travels. There is a lot of chaos and confusion when it comes to being in the holiday travel rush. Thankfully, there are some ways that you can prepare for holiday travel. DealDash is here to help!

Plan Ahead and do Your Research

You should not waste time when it comes to traveling. It is important to plan ahead and do your research. Shop around and compare different costs for flights. Make sure you sign up for airlines newsletters for travel deals that you can receive. Be flexible with your schedule. If you can travel early you should. Planning ahead will make traveling less stressful.

Packing With Help from DealDash

Packing can take a lot of your time, but you can make it simple. It is best to travel with a carry-on bag. This is not the right time of year to try to get through the security with an oversized luggage. The passengers are already in a hurry to get to their destination and holding up the line will put them in a bad mood. It is important to also make your luggage lighter by wearing the heavy clothing instead of packing coats, and sweaters.

If you need a nice new carry-on bag you can easily get one from DealDash. DealDash has some of the nicest and highest-quality luggage around. You can simply click this link right here and check out the luggage that DealDash offers up for auction. In addition to the luggage, DealDash also offers gift cards to stores that carry luggage and bags. You can win or BIN (Buy It Now) a gift card to Kohl’s, Target, or Wal-Mart and choose from their selection of luggage as well. Just click here to see all of the amazing gift card options.

Traveling with Presents

If you can avoid packing the gifts it is a good idea to ship them. Gifts can take up space and make security checks become longer. It is important to ship them a few weeks ahead, so they will be there by the time you arrive. If you have to pack the Christmas presents, make sure you pack them well with bubble wrap to prevent damage. It is also important to save the wrapping for when you arrive. Otherwise, your gift wrapping job will likely be damaged while in transit.
