DealDash Fun Valentine’s Date Ideas

dealdash valentines day

Valentine’s Day is coming soon, do you have a date planned out for you and your sweetie? Why do the same old dinner? Here are some different ideas from DealDash.

Dinner and a movie might be a standard date, but why not try something new and different for Valentine’s Day? Some of these ideas from DealDash might not be romantic, but they will be fun quality time spent with your date, and isn’t that the important part?

Comedy Club

It’s said that laughing is a great bonding experience for couples, so perhaps a Valentine’s Day date to the comedy club is in order. Check your local Yelp or Google Guide to see if there’s a comedy club near you. Next, be sure of the hours and if you need tickets in advance. Have a fun time laughing the night away with your honey.

Paint Night

Many smaller restaurants and bars have what’s known as “paint night.” Paint night is a super fun activity that includes instruction from an art teacher how to paint a simple painting, and you can usually purchase wine or bring your own. Have a lovely time bonding with your mate while painting and sipping.

Couple’s Massage

Forget the dinner and a movie, I would trade them both for a massage! Couple’s massages aren’t always offered at your standard chain massage businesses, but sometimes they offer them as a special for Valentine’s Day. If you can’t get a couple’s massage, just get two regular massages booked at the same time. Once you’re face down on the massage table you won’t notice that the other person is in the room, anyway.

Cooking Class

What’s more romantic than Italian food? Italian food that you make yourself! Enroll you and your honey in a cooking class and learn how to make a meal together. The bonding experience will be great for your relationship – and if not, at least you will get a meal out of it!

DealDash’s Online Shopping Ideas

Image result for online shopping Of course DealDash would like you to come check out the auctions for this holiday shopping season, but they realize you will be shopping on multiple websites. Here are some online shopping hints for the season.

DealDash get it. DealDash understands that as much as you like their online auctions, you will be shopping in multiple places online and in store this year for Christmas. When you need something, check DealDash first, because you might be able to get a great deal – but if DealDash isn’t offering the particular item that you are looking for this year, here are some hints about online shopping this Christmas season.

The most important hint for this holiday season is to plan ahead. Don’t be one of those shoppers that waits until the very last second and then has to wait in long lines at the store, or pay for overnight shipping. Try to have all of your presents purchased, delivered, and wrapped two weeks before Christmas. That means that you need to hustle. Be sure to check DealDash first, here is a link to search the auctions.

Next, make sure that you make yourself a budget and stick to it! Decide before you start shopping how much that you are going to spend on each of the people on your shopping list, and then go shopping. You wouldn’t want to travel to a foreign city without a gps, and you don’t want to go shopping without a budget! It just makes good sense.

As mentioned above, make sure that you have a list. Make a list of everyone that you would like to get a gift for, the budget, and maybe also jot down a few ideas if what you think that they might like.

If you are getting gifts for multiple children that will be opening their gifts together such as siblings or cousins, try to keep the budgets for each child similar. It wouldn’t be a very nice experience for the kids if one child gets an Xbox One, and the other child gets a puzzle. If you would like to get one of the children something much nicer than the others, be sure to give them that gift privately so no one gets their feelings hurt on Christmas.

After you’ve made your lists and your budget, come check out DealDash. DealDash has awesome gifts for kids and adults. Visit DealDash now and see how much you can save. Good luck and happy bidding everyone! Image result for online shopping

DealDash and the Festive Smell

Image result for simmer pot ingredients No matter what kind of house you live in, I bet you want it to smell yummy. Here is a guide on fall simmer pots from DealDash.

I don’t know about you, but I end up cleaning my house myself most of the time, and one of the things that I like to do is make the air smell yummy and clean.  I have found quite a few handy tips and tricks through the years to make the house smell good – from chemicals to candles to natural methods. Here are a few helpful hints from DealDash.

Around this time of year the air in the house tends to get a little stale due to no windows being opened, and people opening and shutting the doors as fast as possible to keep out the chilly weather. There’s a way to freshen up the air in your house without too much effort – simmer pots!

Making a simmer pot is extremely easy. There are two basic methods – on the stove or in a crock pot. Both have their positives and negatives, let’s talk about both methods.

To make a simmer pot on the stove you just need to combine the ingredients together, fill the pot with water, and simmer away. The idea is to simmer the pot all day, adding more water as needed. This way gets the maximum scent, and also has the added benefit of extremely easy clean up. However, if you have small kids, pets that jump onto the counter, or a gas stove – this method is not for you.

Making a simmer pot using a crock pot is easy and you can let it simmer all day without even having to watch it, other than to just check in occasionally to make sure that it doesn’t need any more water. I don’t feel that this method spreads around as much scent, but it’s the only way to go if you have any safety concerns about the stove method.

As for what to put in the simmer pot – it’s up to you! I will include a list of some possibilities, mix and match the ingredients as you see fit.

  • dried orange peel
  • apple
  • cloves
  • cinnamon sticks
  • cardamom pods
  • fresh ginger
  • star anise
  • vanilla bean
  • lemon
  • rosemary
  • cranberries
  • bay leaf

I hope that you enjoy making your house smell yummy with a simmer pot. If you need a new pot or slow cooker, DealDash has them. DealDash has many kitchen items. Check DealDash first, at this link here. Good luck and happy bidding everyone!Image result for simmer pot ingredients

DealDash Presents: Fun Life Hacks

Image result for life hacks

Life hacks are simple tricks to make life easier. Here are some life hacks for you to try.

I personally love reading about all of the different life hacks, and then trying them out. There are some very helpful ones that have literally changed the way that I do some things on a daily basis, and others that are fun to try just to see if they work or not. Here are some fun life hacks for you to try out and see if they change your life.

Cable organizer – Are you ever confused which cable goes to what device when you are only trying to unplug one of them? Simply attach a bread tie to each cable with the device written on it. Simple, useful, and free!

Colored keys – Do you have a few keys that look alike and you spend time trying to figure out which key you need? Use nail polish to paint the tops different colors. You can buy fancy colored keys that do the same thing, but this is free!

Cord saver – If you have an apple device, I bet that you have ruined a cord or two, I know I have! The cord tends to break where it bends at the joint between the cord and the plug. Prevent it from bending by taking the spring out of a pen and slipping it on. No more bends and broken cords!

life hacks for girls

Bleach spots – It never fails, unless you buy the more expensive “no-splash” bleach, you’re going to get bleach splashes. If you have a few splashes on a favorite shirt, just color in the spots with sharpie marker!

Tea Tag – This simple life hack has changed the way that I prepare my tea. I drink 2-3 cups of tea every day, and I hate it when you pour in the water and the paper part of the tea bag flops in the water. Simply wind the tea tag around the handle a couple of times and it won’t flop in!

I hope that you found these life hacks useful. After you’re done trying out the life hacks, be sure to visit DealDash. DealDash has everything that you need to keep your life awesome. Just click this link here and go browse the auctions. Good luck and happy bidding everyone!

DealDash Rules Summer

How is your summer going so far? We’re done with the 4th of July, the next big holiday is Labor Day on Monday, September 5th. Let’s make the most of the summer before it’s over!

Have you and your family made any fun day trips yet this summer? Depending on where you live there are most likely many fun places that you can go to spend the day, feel like you had a little vacation, but not spend money on plane tickets or hotels. There are lots of fun places that you can visit that don’t have to break the budget. If you have small kids all the way up to teenagers amusement parks like 6 Flags, King’s Dominion, Busch Gardens, or even smaller local theme parks are always a hit.

If you and you family are more outdoorsy than thrill-seekers, then maybe you could take a trip to a local beach, lake, or pond and have a picnic, then break out the kites for some high-flying family fun or the kayaks for some fun in the water. If time by the water isn’t your thing, how about a hike on some local trails or a family bike ride on your town’s bike path, or even around your neighborhood?

Another fun family activity that is fun and can save you money as well is visiting your local farmer’s markets. I live in New England where the towns are so close together I could easily pass through 3 different towns in 15 minutes, which is a great thing if we are talking about farmer’s markets. Each of the 3 different towns has their own separate farmer’s markets that are held on different days. Some of the farmer’s markets are better than others, offering face painting and balloons for the kids, but all of them have great deals on freshly grown produce, honey, and other artisan products.

If you’re going to go out and have some fun this summer I suggest that you visit DealDash first. DealDash has lots of fun things for the summer in their Hobbies, Toys, Outdoors, and Games category. If you click on this link right here it will take you to DealDash and you can browse all of the exciting deals that are going on today and in the future. Good luck and happy bidding everyone!
